I was born and raised in Clarendon, Jamaica. In 2005, I graduated from University of the West Indies, Mona with a B. Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science and Electronics. I then started my professional career as a software engineer and have not looked back since. Spanning activities across the Software Development Life Cycle, I am what would be considered a full stack developer, performing duties in front-end, middle-tier and back-end systems. Though I am proficient in multiple languages, I am primarily a .NET Developer with skills including C#, ASP.NET, MSSQL, SSIS and SSRS, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Outside of work, I use my skills to solve various problems using PHP, Python and Node.js but will find the right tool for the job when necessary. Outside of writing software, I use multiple online learning resources to boost my skills. I also blog about my coding experiences

A little surprised that after 64 comments I've only seen 2 instances of Evernote mentioned. I also found https://dabble.me/ the other day which seemed like a nice slot in for quick thoughts with the ability to email to your journal. I've heard that journaling manually works better but I really dislike writing unless necessary.

One of my biggest gripes is with how many places I have my data in currently, and as a dev, I should have done something already but that's another story.

I'll definitely have a look at Notion and org-mode having read the feedback here along with a few other mentions elsewhere.

I don't know the dose and will ask, but your experience matches my only experience and I hadn't looked into it before. Everything resolved to one entity, which was almost nothingness at the same time. Brave Passes 10M Monthly Active Users, Sees 19% Growth Since 1.0 Launch 7 years ago

I installed it on my personal laptop due to constant crashes with chrome that debug logging didn't help to solve. Brave suffered similarly so I stuck with Chrome. I do extension development so when I saw that they used the same store I was pleasantly surprised. I couldn't test my extension behaviour though, because the app it enhances was having issues.

I'll give it a go on the PC I'm using for work(family) until I upgrade. Free BAT!
