They have a "do not promote" list that you must request to be added to which solves the spam/marketing mail problem. That you have to ask is problematic but there is a solution if this was the only problem.

I just don't understand the appeal. As far as firearms go, the last thing I want is one that can not be relied upon. I get that solving technical challenges is fun but in this case, to what end? To make practical home-built firearms? Boys in Afghanistan are making practical ak-47's with little more than a file, scrap and tenacity. If you want to build a firearm (semi-auto) at home in the US it isn't even illegal.

Lot's of things we think we know but don't and chemical space is super large? Why a molecule works within a mouse but not human, depends on what you mean by doesn't work. It might not be that it doesn't work but that the potential drug never makes it that far in the process for other reasons. Common reasons would be poor ADMET issues and difficulty in formulation for enteral route.

Also, works is a matter of interpretation. Better relative to other drugs on the market? Shows better outcomes than no treatment? There are some drugs out there that with time and more investigation are showing some lack of efficacy, eg gliptins

I'd think the compressor would still have an efficiency range even if it's electric. Would a compressor that can feed an engine at low rpms 25psi over atmospheric be able to maintain that psi as rpms increase? I'm curious if the electric compressors are turning at 100k rpms like the mechanical turbo they are replacing.

I think the theme is really power on demand. I don't like the idea of an electric turbo/compressor for the same reasons I don't like quartz watches. But maybe adding an electric compressor and upgrading the already taxed alternator will offset the parasitic loss?.

Performance and economy are in opposition. It is still all down to Air/Fuel/Spark. You just know that 10% was from DI and fuel cut on the odd cylinder in spite of the eturbo. When you open the throttle plate 100% and get that turbo of any kind running 100K+ rpms, ignition advance drops, fuel flow jumps and there goes your fuel economy. Again, you cut the fuel when you don't need it and/or stop spraying fuel everywhere else but directly in the chamber. Where you fall on the curve before/after MBT can be changed but it's not really possible to run after (lean side) the fuel curve with standard fuel stocks and certainly not under boost, ie you can do it, but you won't be making any power.

The whole glove box routine should be avoided. Fumbling for docs under stress is not where you want to be. Better to keep your insurance/registration in an envelope in the visor.
