I used to have an automatic google search-domain blocker. It was just front-end though so if a page would have website domains that were useless, it would only have 1 or 2 results on it unfortunately. Something a little better integrated would be nicer.

I don't speak French at all yet, but looking at this keyboard, I like most all the design choices over the standard QWERTY keyboard and especially over the old AZERTY French keyboard. For English use it is quite nice except I do like the ' and " keys close to the center, and as a general rule I think switching the 6 bracket keys ()[]{} over two keys to the right would be nicer for programming use to avoid needing to over-extend the pointer-finger (Put ù and Ù on the 5 key anyways, to match with the other accented vowels). I really like the extra basic maths keys as well, since too often there is no LaTeX or Markdown widget in websites.

Holy cow this reads straight out of a dystopian novel. Been hearing crazies talking about "The Great Reset" for over 10 years now, never thought it would come to the fore.

Well all the major internet firms are based in the United States, if they want to hold to foreign markets they would need to hold separate divisions in separate countries, or in coalition dealings. There is a reason USA law Section 203 debates (which doesn't address the core problem) are so contentious regarding Social Media.

This is exactly why I believe a dutiful representation of the 1st amendment in the Internet includes anti-botting measures, since bots flood the town-hall with un-measured broadcasting, shuttering out any and all active speech. But beyond anti-botting and one or two other very minor holds, a public forum should have no other restrictions of moderation. There is an exact restriction needed for the moderation to itself not be speech-impacting either by too much or too little of it.

Eugenics literally means "well-bred" so any attempts to re-encode ourselves has a direct involvement of Eugenics, so I am not performing analogy here but invoking the principle of a fortiori. Particularly I am not claiming ethics of gene-editing or Eugenics in general, but that the public has no appetite for this as seen with the strong ethical claims against Eugenics.

By a "non-binding eugenics guideline" I mean something akin to "ex-convicts should not produce" or something, I mean there is absolutely zero state or national guideline that I know of that invokes arguments of eugenics, if you know of one then I am mistaken.

Perhaps, but as time progresses such methods meet more resistance/grey areas. For instance there are gene sequences that have strong correlation with intelligence, and taking the same schema to avoid having a (nearly assured) kid of low intelligence would be more controversial obviously, or well similar cases 100 years ago of rapists and scum of the earth looking to have kids yes? Look not debating eugenics here, just pointing to any mass involvement of Crispr on child-rearing will meet to the same fate I am sure.

First an app for just broadcasting transparency is fine, but there is no control here. Well any app within the walled garden of the OS is powerless to remove the embedded trackers of the advertising companies owning them, so moreso an app isn't the solution here but a complete switchoff onto a more secure OS would fit, and once there you can have a privacy app (though in insecure hands a "privacy app" will just be another heavy invasive tracker).

A "non-binding eugenics guideline" has been considered highly unethical regardless, so no a non-compulsory solution here fails as well.

Feels like a sticking point, what should people do with their current pets? It is deeper than an individual choice to refuse taking ownership of a pet, since they are a societal domestic cluster, these animals have lost their inner personality and relegated that prowess to their owners.

Not just drinking water, 685 covers most all standard water usage. What the water-claimant regime is pointing to here is that nothing is even remotely comparable in State government control under a democracy to raw population. And thus a minority population is left with no recourse.

Neither, the problem is raw population is the only metric of state-impact, even essential goods like water are paltry for impacting state-direction as the raw population of the many major cities of Southern California.

The point of water being a human right is not the actual on-the-face claim (of course!) but that California is the only State in the Union to declare it so. This is purely politics at State-level, not a humanitarian objective (a la "national security" at the federal level). The exchange of this essential good should pay forward to the state-control and security for the North via deforestation is my point.

Think: Northern California already would be called Jefferson by now if Southern California pushed for it as well, but they refuse on the basis of Northern water, yet they give no due State power, that is the fundamental hypocrisy of Democracy.

If you want to see the faults of near-pure democracy, look no further than the north/south divide of California. Two key characteristics of Northern California today: (1) has most all the State's water (2) has a great deal of the State's fires. Now as a negotiation offer, the water in theory should be a strong hold for the State to put ample effort for deforestation, but as of today water is a Human Right (thus Southern California has a non-negotiable right to the Northern water) and the bloated bill for forest fire management put perhaps a 100th of the effort needed for forest-management practices.

Just taken a bit off guard: do you not dispute the other claim?

The difference of today is our world's global businesses look up to the major Communist force of our world today instead of seeing it as a competitor, they have noted the methods of censorship and totalitarianism and have taken notes back-home.

I mean do you see China becoming the next world power? I do myself, though not nearly as long as a reign as America had, I foresee a 15 year thereabout hold from China until the country falls into the typical issues that the Western world has faced + Japan faced since the 90's.

Yeah I should be clear I have never had problems with overeating myself so I am coming at the issue with an outwards viewpoint. I have been 6'7" and 190-200 pounds for all my adult life, and have cooked most all my own meals since I moved for university, so at least for being weight consistent I haven't had much trouble. I moreso have observed that snacking foods + sugary drinks + fast food leads to a partial negligence of the diet, we often eat too fast and eat hard-to-estimate caloric worth quantities to recognize in our gut we are full enough.

Where do you place China yourself development wise today?

Meaning this in the nicest way possible, but is there more to this game than spending hours at a time micromanaging? I do that at work anyways, don't want to bring that into a hobby.

Last year has had a greater loss of norms of Western thought than we have seen since the dawn of the modern world in almost every Western country. Say what you want about the virus response, but powers that be don't give up newly founded power after they seized it once (the lockdowns never will truly end).
