Is this cool because it's a start up thing? I don't recall anyone going on Ensure binges.

Have they resolved the long-standing performance issues present for the last six months? I've tried using Atom numerous times, but the longer it runs, the less stable it gets.
Is there supposed to be a link to the whiteboard problems? What are "the alternatives?" Your post seems a bit vague and pretentious.
What a fancy world some people live in.
Anyone know what his parents do?
Correlation vs causation issues? Welfare is available to everyone, why would you say this is only affecting a certain race?
Seems more appropriate to look at other trends rather than a 1965 article.
It must be much more fascinating to imagine machines managing everyday life than to imagine the societal complications that will result. I've seen like 3-4 of these machines do it all posts and nothing to examine what people will do.
It's a bit silly to imagine everyone suddenly becoming creative and entrepreneurial - of the people I know and the people I see they are such a small minority.
You didn't follow the same formula by distancing yourself from watch ownership?
Yeah, but do you pull out the airplane flight control manual to familiarize yourself with the flight controls of the airplane you're riding in? Serious question: Without looking it up on your travel itenerary, can you honestly tell me how to fly the make/model airplane you last flew on? I can, because I read the manual, which gives me knowledge that could save my life, but if you don't want to live to see 30, that's your perogative...but it's the law you have to listen to flight crew, even if you don't want to interrupt your aircraft identifying.
Hacker News on Friday is always the worst.
Cringe
Code reviewing is such a hilarious concept in programming. Everyone thinks it's the most important thing, yet I've only seen rubber stamps and uninterested reviewers.
I'd be so much happier if we could get rid of the entire notion and do up front design and pair programming.
Also, oh my god that checklist. Anyone that has a business dedicated to delivery is going to have to throw that thing out the window.
Move.
Seems like a desperate attempt to drum up book sales. Whomever created this could have just found motivational posters and pasted them in all 50 slides. I found nothing in this but same old tired cliches; try hard, don't give up, think big. "What's different now?"
The only age you see in any of these is percentage.
Diversity shouldn't be a whatever convenient cause you want to look progressive on.
Why Gosu over Groovy or Kotlin?
Why Kotlin over Groovy? Because it's statically typed? Is this an evolutionary thing, or just preference?
Compete with yourself. You'll always spot failures, you'll always see when you improve. The reduction in stress will be a significant catalyst to improvement. You just have to be very honest.
