Why is it called euthanasia, when the bees cannot give consent? Isn't this just "Killing a dangerous hive"? I get it sounds less nice, but saying "euthanizing" is just deceitful language. Words have meaning.

You could write your password on a piece of paper and give it to family that you trust. When you pass away, and they inherit your computer they can use that password to login to your keepass.

There is no algorithm of truth, and with enough data you can arrive at any conclusion you like. Maybe people should be better educated, instead of machines becoming smarter.

You're confounding affluence with the difference between physical/mental labour. I've done both hard physical labour and hard mental labour, and what OP says is totally spot on. Hard physical work, even when excruciatingly tough, is most often more bearable than hard mental work. There's nothing like beig 'done' after a hard day of work. After a hard day of mental work you just feel miserable until you fall asleep. If only manual laborers were appreciated (i.e. compensated) as much as mental laborers...

This kind of selection is what he refers to when he talks about bottlenecks, wars, and famine. Small groups with beneficial gene selection could've easily taken over during great changes in societal structure. The idea that evolution can go very fast is pretty well founded in (I forget the name) the idea that you have large stretches of minimal, small improvements, interpuncted by short disruptive events of large improvements/readaptation to a new environment.

Age of an agent and score of feedback for that agent determine its ranking.Though that still leaves gaming possible with the feedback. There's a difference between a software firm that has the infrastructure to develop new products and a, for example, financial firm, that will consume products and maybe tie all of that together with their own custom solution. If it already exists, and being consumed and actively developed, it's way more efficient to just buy a license than to create your own solution.
