I never thought about it like this but this covers surprisingly much of what's currently happening.

Thanks for the info!
I’m taking 400mg - 800mg magnesium daily, recently added K2 (100 mcg MK-4) together with 2000 or 3000 IU D3.
What would you change? Get my blood levels first and then increase D3?
Increase my magnesium supplementation? Don’t take calcium at all?
How did you find your own doses and what else are you supplementing?
If your nose is stuffy regularly, search for "mewing" on youtube. Could be worth trying
WSJ estimates this deal to be worth more than $100M.
I hope Joe Rogan has a plan for how to invest a good chunk of this for greater good. IMHO this kind of sum comes with a responsibility to do something with it that goes beyond your family and friends. (Like Tim Ferris does now for psychedelics research).
Judging by how I perceive him from the show, I don’t think he’s just greedy and wants that much for himself. Either there’s some detail in the contract that allows him to break free in case Spotify tries to censor too hard. Or he already has some longer-term thing in mind that he needs the capital for.
One nice detail is that they’d be free to play music.
Guess what, you can get 3 tokens for around $35, so one token will be cheaper than the average prices (anchors) you'd otherwise pay.
The data on drinking might have to account for change in demographics with more muslims among teenagers than previously.
Also, if you cancel any subscription (maybe just to make sure it doesn't accidentally get renewed), you get to keep however many days you have left. Not so with their own free one year Apple TV subscription that came with the latest phones. If you cancel that, there's an alert telling you you'll lose it immediately. Clearly tilting the playing field again and again.
I wonder how this affects teams at Apple. From what I heard before, some teams are already on crunch time before WWDC to bring whatever they’re working on into a state that you can ship as a beta.
Yes. Pure speculation, but lack of sleep might have been a factor in relatively young doctors in Wuhan dying from the virus. And quantity of viral matter might also be an important factor.
don't `killall Dock` if you have lots of minimized windows

Yours are probably just heating. Theirs are cooling
Diesel cars.
Seems like you haven’t been to the UK or Europe. The London busses and cabs are really bad. Plus all the other diesel cars with NOx emissions way past the legal limits.
Is there any scientific literature on potential dangers of these standard vaccines? Maybe newer findings?
I’m asking because this is such a polarizing topic that science-trusting people could totally have developed a blind spot by now. I mean some anti-vaxers are so crazy that you might become more pro vaccination than you’d otherwise be and miss some of the truth.
I'm a paid customer of Evernote
I think what you want to say is "paying customer"
exactly, e.g.
let x ∈ ℝ
The current democratic structure clearly doesn't work here. Western democracies are starting to look more and more inefficient these days. They're overwhelmed with complexity and are stuck on short-term egoism.
Of course they are. It’s just not a buzzword anymore but considered normal.
One of the reasons why crypto currencies are useful. Same thing happened back when Wikileaks needed donation money and every established platform cut them loose.
One of the less obvious reasons why Electron has become so widely used is that Apple hasn’t invested anything meaningful into improving AppKit in the last 5-10 years. If Cocoa was a joy to use I’m sure there would be more native apps.
This resonates so much with how I feel. Thanks for sharing!
I wonder what to read to understand how the fact that so much money is invested in index funds these days could eventually become a problem in a crisis situation and how to profit if that happens.
Thanks for sharing that! How did you transition to contracting?
There are third party apps like Carrot (IIRC) that have complications for air quality
Wow, that's insane. I wonder if that rental contract is even legal.
I also had an incident where they sided with the host and refused me a refund. That was quite a surprise and the way they handled it had a strong taste of they decide by numbers and then it's a brick wall and they'll just coat it for you but the decision is incontestable. Now I'm weighing the risk and uncertainty and oftentimes it's just not worth it and I'll rather go for a hotel.
It’s just 12 acres
Edit: oh, that’s the initial Quayside only. Afterwards it could get much bigger. https://sidewalktoronto.ca
that's good to know! Then the difference shouldn't be that big on Retina displays.
I just compared on High Sierra and it's mostly that without subpixel AA types look thinner
E-2 and acquisition
What options are there for a startup founder in E-2 status (or on an E-2 visa) when the startup is acquired?
Thanks a lot for doing this AMA!
Meanwhile the multitudes reiterate the “crypto is dead” mantra until next year.
