You obviously know nothing about the folks at wallstreetbets. It's not just a bunch of random people doing pump and dumps. Their methods and DD might be questionable at times but they base them on something and at times try to stick to that thesis.

Currencies fluctuate against demand in the foreign exchange market, not against each other. Governments then step up to stabilize that demand. Bitcoin doesn't have that support so it fluctuates wildly, exactly like it's been doing since it's inception.
Yes, that's why it's considered the worst case and a safe bet to withdraw
What prevents those trusted sources from being similarly hacked once they're now the main arbiters of important information? I'd even argue this may be more dangerous especially if tech and security are not their core focus.
Amazon makes substantially more from AWS than its retail segment. Retail revenue is higher but revenue does not equal profit. For instance last quarter AWS revenue was 13% compares to retail but it contributed 52% of operating income.
I think you missed the sarcasm
Easier just to spell it out right here. Bear gang wants the market to die, Bull gang wants the market to moon (go up) and theta gang wants the market to not move at all.
P.S: Stonks only go up! ... I mean down (as of late).
Damn this is a bummer. I don't live anywhere near California but I am a fellow developer. Shoot me a PM and I can at least send you a couple bucks.
I think the point was that youre guaranteed to not fly in the MAX if you go with an airline with an airbus only fleet
I routinely skip breakfast and I have an extremely high metabolic rate and my weight stays within a normal range for my height. I just don't feel hungry in the morning. There is no one rule that applies to everyone.
She was almost 20 and was told repeatedly by her professors at Stanford that they don't think it would work. If you don't know by the time you're 20 that using off the shelf machines to do blood tests and telling everyone that you're using some new revolutionary method is fraud, then I dont know what to tell you. And no she didn't start with 200k, she had 6 million in venture capital the very year she started which ballooned to over 400 million.
May not be quite the same. Navigating to Burger King website in McDonalds requires the user to take an explicit action to do so, Always-on geo-located AR may not require user consent (unless it's designed that way which may defeat the purpose of Ads).
Not to mention if you are applying for a green card you get bumped to the back of the line with every job change unless your i-485 approved
I'm glad you said this. Many got burned including myself due to dilution events. When your 2% stake turns into 0.25% over time and you get paid last, there needs to be a very large buyout/IPO for you to get anything substantial. Add in the taxes paid on that and I would have been 10 times better working a corporate job with less headaches.
Second this. Work remotely for big tech company. You couldnt pay me enough to go back to an office
I know from previously working there that Microsoft gives all public holidays. When I started you had floating holidays you could take for some (MLK, Columbus etc) but now all are given. Wouldn't be surprised to learn it's the same at Google, FB et al.
Completely agree with this. I'd also add that amazon doesn't just seek to dominate an industry but also to make it difficult for future competitors to enter the space in the first place. Raising prices could in theory create a gap for a future/current competitor to step in.
It's next to impossible for the average team to avoid hundreds of dependencies as their project grows though. You could write your own everything, but then what's the benefit of the node ecosystem?
Edit: spelling
People pay for perceived value. Emphasis on perceived.
The slogan of Horlicks is "Taller, stronger, sharper". Grew up in the Caribbean and every mom swore by it so we drank it.
I do agree with you on this in theory but to be honest I personally hate this. 9 times out of 10 the person shouting "on your left" startles me and my brain goes into overdrive frantically trying to calculate which side he is on with respect to my own position and trying to get my limbs moving in the opposite direction. The twist is that I'm usually not in the way to begin with most of the time.
Now I'm not sure how to solve this conundrum but I'd rather be more inclined to believe we need better design than resorting to strangers shouting their ever-changing location.
This looks like the VueJS Hacker news script. Not knocking it but just curious if it is. I've used that script to build a few things myself. https://github.com/vuejs/vue-hackernews-2.0
I wouldn't call using AWS straightforward unless you're a developer. Heck your own tutorial is about 10 pages/screenfuls long.
