Microsoft has been shipping steaming crapola for decades. Their unwieldy and unmaintainable codebase is their own fault. This should not be news to anyone who is unfortunate enough to have to use their awful products.

They sought to dominate the market by means other than having the best talent and shipping the best software. It worked but now they have a problem.

And who can forget this? http://blog.zorinaq.com/?e=74 Developers developers developers.

Any vulns I find will not be dealt with in such a charitable manner. (i.e. you have exactly zero days to fix your shit).

Why on Earth are Google wasting their own resources doing Microsoft's work for them?

Tiny, tiny violins, Microsoft. Tiny, tiny violins.

I like that I can start hacking right away after reading the 'not a manual' once.

I don't like the 'do' - it's either redundant or inconsistent. Why does 'while' get a 'do' but 'if' doesn't?

Or the 'end', especially as it could be a 'while-end' or an 'if-end'.

And 'isa' (what was wrong with 'is')? Blech!

I like that 'var' is an attribute and the 'fun' is a method.

Android support is intriguing.

Maybe this seems like small things and I don't know about what the rest of you are talking about. 'contravariant'? huh?

But it looks cool to me and I don't think you can ever have too many cool things.

I see you trying to be cute about what your product/service is/does. I still don't know but now don't I care.

I don't know about the US but in the UK you are correct. In the UK unless you can unencrypt on demand of court its jail time - end of. I do not think this is obscure or unlikely. It is highly likely that paedophiles will use this network for instance and that somewhere on your computer you'll be storing fragments of child rape videos - a serious crime in itself. You will also be an accessory to the original crime.

We could try it! You can do a home experiment with a bottle, some baking soda and vinegar maybe, a lamp and a thermometer to demonstrate how adding CO2 increases the temperature.

Scares the holy-bejeebers out of the kids.
