Non-crossfitter here. I have a personal trainer who is also a non-crossfitter. His assessment of the program is that it is too one size fits all.

I am advanced in my career but a beginner when it comes to AV. I'm lucky in that I have a job in the field as a newbie. I'm taking the Udacity SDC course starting next week.

But you can make that ~500k/yr at a half dozen (at least!) other companies without compromising yourself and selling out. I think FB has a reputation as paying at or above the market max. It's not like the other FANGs or unicorns are slouches in the comp department.

I have the ~$800 pro version early in the video. It's an IQAir. I bought it when I bought my house. We were refinishing the hardwood floors and have a small child. My goal was to knock down the VOCs to make the room safe for him prior to move in.

It runs 24/7 in my bedroom now. Huge improvement in sleep quality. I've only had to change one of the filters once for about $100 after 1.5 years of run time.

I don't believe Full Stack is a real thing. I also believe you have probably been doing distributed systems even if you think you haven't.

I worked briefly with Nicholas at Box though we never met. I recall him being one of a handful of Principal engineers at the company when I joined and aspiring to reach that position myself. I commend Nicholas for sharing this data and for the thoughtful way in which he laid out why he felt compelled to do so.

We bought our first home in Mountain View last year after renting for over eight years. All our schools are great. We're part of the Los Altos School District. Schools were a big part of where we chose to buy.

I don't agree with the conclusion that passionate users are going to take their passion elsewhere. This feels like more of an idle threat by a scorned user.

I just think of the Wailers song: Do It Twice. "I'd like to say baby, you so nice I'd like to do the same thing twice, yeah!"

You twice perpetuated the notion that older candidates are less likely to get the job because of their age. Simply giving it credence is ageism.
