There are a few services now that scour dozens of sites around the web for freelance dev jobs, haven't tried one yet but have considered: https://freelanceinbox.com
NFTE is a fantastic organization, I've done a bunch of work with them over the years in their Boston office as part of their advisory committee and actually was in the NFTE program as a high school student over 10 years ago.
This is the first time I've seen NFTE Launch, I just reached out to the New England folks to see if we can do something similar here.

Gemvara is now the world's largest selection of gemstone jewelry and every piece on the site can be customized (change the metals, change the stones/accent stones, accessory metals)
We just launched our new site a few minutes ago, would love any/all feedback
Not very SEO friendly by having all the content on one page like this
We are hiring at Paragon Lake (Lexington, MA) - Product Manager, E-commerce developer, Java developer, and more: http://paragonlake.com/company/careers.php
Thank you for the great feedback, the students definitely appreciate it, the search results lack relevancy at the moment due to the fact that they are adding a large number of products in the coming weeks so it will improve over time, the feedback on UI/Logo/etc. is very useful.
Interesting article...
HN: if you could completely rebuild business plan competitions, what would they look like? Would it still even have a business plan involved?
Google Analytics & Visual Sciences are my favorites, Visual Sciences is really for enterprise level sites but the level of data and ways you can slice and dice things is significantly better than anything I've seen out there.
I have also heard a lot of good things about Omniture and have used it a few times.
I have been on HN for almost 700 days now and read it almost daily, I rarely post, comment, or login but I think the content & community here is best in class.
While there seems to be some discussion about the quality of the community lately, I think the quality of the submissions is still extremely high, and that the comments are still for the most part insightful and valuable.
Babson College alumnus
I will probably attend and bring a co-founder of mine or two.
Background: Serial young entrepreneur and blogger based out of Babson College (about to graduate). Also started a venture development firm for young entrepreneurs to launch ventures cheaper and faster (Invenio Group), we are about four years old at this point and continue to grow and thrive.
Excited to attend!
I am also a business folk (Babson College Entrepreneurship program) and using Hackety Hack to try and gain some basic Ruby knowledge. I like it so far.
