Are you blocking some of your traffic? I had the same issue until I (temporary) disabled NextDNS just for signing in.

Sadly, the error returned is not related to the cause.

That’s been one of the strategies to help me cope with my ADD: turning my most visited services into standalone apps, and forbid to open links outside the domain in those apps.

I use Fluid in Mac, although IIRC there was a non trivial way to create them using Firefox.

BoS 2012? I was there and that presentation changed my way on how to (re)think about users interactions with products. I don’t exaggerate if I say that the ROI of attending that event (if only for her session) has been well over 1000x

Apart from those, I’d suggest to take a look to Integromat. Their “http module” (a UI for a curl-like service) is really handy when you want to interact with a 3rd party service that hasn’t been integrated yet.

We should ask our governments to ban the use of https and just trust each other

(</ironic>, just in case some internet random folk thinks I’m serious)

Please, don't be nervous. The v1 will be sold and maintained for a very long time.

Cannot talk about details, but New Relic doesn't want us to lose a single customer during the transition. Not only one.

So please, bear with us. No plans to discontinue anything, and with the upside that now we have a lot more of horsepower.

Nope.

Although Recurly could be technically used in Europe, it generates invalid invoices (at least here in Spain).

We are switching away from it, and personally, I do not recommend it anymore.

Good point.

We currently have one paid plan without any restrictions, so there´s no much to show. If you are a "standard plan" user, you'll see a trial countdown notification at the top bar and your payment options at your account preferences. If you have a HN account, you won't see anything of this.

If you have specific doubts regarding to your account status, send us an email to contact_At_ducksboard.com

Ooops... I think we have a wrong message in our site: it's not in our plans to sell widgets (or put limitations on the # of them you can use). Probably the word "marketplace" isn't appropriate. Calling it "directory" suits better our intentions.

Also, it's not really a contest. For us is to have fun, play with cutting-edge technology, make interesting things and just hack.

I see your point about pricing, but we can only say at this stage that we are validating the final one and it will be affordable. Hope this helps to explain our view.

It's free during the beta... and someday we'll start charging. There's nothing more I can say you now except:

- We are validating the pricing, and it will cost like any other SaaS (different plans segmented on features and affordable [monthly fee like 1-2 hours of typical salary outside SiliconValley :D]

- If you are in the Hackathon, we will forget to send you any invoice during some months ;)

Last Christmas we bought a laptop for my nephew. Few days later came to my wife to ask her how to save a file.

- You just need to click on the "diskette" icon. - Aunt, what's a "diskette"?

I bet in few years most UX designers will use the Dropbox logo instead of a diskette icon to show where you need to click to save a file :D

(Disclaimer: I'm a proud founder at http://ducksboard.com)

1) It's pretty transparent because we're a small team (of 3) :) We have a large 37' screen with general information (leads, support tickets, milestones, active users...) and also all of us are using it individually for tracking other metrics (f.i. I'm tracking mainly marketing metrics, while Jan is an addict to PostgreSQL performance).

2) We have a set of predefined widgets, but we mainly push data through a REST API. It's so easy to set up, that even a VC can do it :P

Next week we'll open up the invites floodgates (a.k.a. "public beta"). If you want to try it, please sign up for an account in our site and then sent me an email (diego_at_ducksboard.com) saying that you read this comment on HN. There's a priority line for HN users :)

We're currently in a closed beta for devs. We have to change several things before launch it publicly.

Send an e-mail to jan-at-ducksboard.com asking for access.

Thanks for your interest :)

I'm from Spain (and glad to help) :)

If you hace general questions ask them here, or ir they are more specific feel free to drop me a line (diego -at- ducksboard.com)

The spanish startup scene is becoming more mature. I know dozens of them with with 20+ employees. Also, due to the general lack of English knowledge here, a native developer is always more than welcome.
