Why would you do this to your business? I always found generic photobank stuff to be the worst, but apparently the bar can go lower.

Of course everyone cares about looks. But the original poster says 'above other considerations'. For example I'd take an ugly noiseless laptop over a slick one with fans. Also, very often, looks go hand in hand with build quality.

Does anybody have experience with filing just the 'trackpad corners' on a dark-colored macbook?

I am in neither of these and nor is any of the many people I know with macbooks. I honestly do not understand why any average person would buy anything else than a macbook today.

Great article and happy to see that I'm not alone. I don't get why on such a well thought-out and built device as this, the corners are so sharp.

From how I use the trackpad, the bottom of my thumb always feels sore-ish after a day's work and it took me a while to trace this to the sharp cornern of my macbook.

I use browser only, then it is fairly easy to vibcode a userscript blocker, which does more or less the same as this app. It syncs between all devices as well. Of course, one can always turn userscripts off, but the pause to think helps already.

For me, this is the maxim that governs speaking with someone defending a totalitarian regime.

But you know this in advance! Try booking with Swiss, you also get a ton of upsell on insurance, car rental and what not. Then you sit in their business class seat and get an advert screened infront of you that you cannot skip. That makes me angry, not Ryanair.

Regarding the destinations, yes, Emirates does not fly from Memmingen to Stanstead. But why would anybody, unless they live in the village next to either.

I don't understand this hate on Ryanair. Just treat it for what it is, a super cheap airline if you avoid all the upsells. No one is being forced do fly with them.

On my phone, I have a faceid requirement on basically any app, so getting it ripped off my hands would be just a minor inconvenience.

Agreed, as long as it has a low input latency and allows me to do some basic key re-mapping, I don't really care. Used iterm for a long time as well, but have not touched 95% of the features and it was just a distraction.

I used iterm2 for ages, but then somehow defaulted to terminal.app. It is fast and that is basically all i need from a terminal emulator, everything else is taken care of by tmux.

I was motivated to learn Dvorak in order to get rid of bad keyboard habits. And happily stuck to it. Not sure that I type any faster, but it feels somehow as a more rhytmical, much more pleasant experience.

It looks like a good value for money, but immediately after registering, I get this reply

The worst about Hello Fresh is the subscription itself, you get meals every week, unless you opt-out. Of course that you will forget to opt out at some point, so they just send you 3 meals of their choice. No 'Hey, we will send you this, are you ok with it or do you want to change it?'

Plus, the receipes aren't that good if you are an above average cook. You get something Indian and it is a gringo version of the real thing, even if the real thing is easy to do.

Or, there is a mistake in the recipe, such as an ingredient not appearing in the walkthrough. I subscribe to stuff like this so that I can cook without using my brain after being tired, not having to check meticulously every dish.

After two months, I happily unsubscribed. The scammyness aside, I do not see any advantage in using the service for how much it costs.

shopt -s histappend together with HISTSIZE=99999 and HISTFILESIZE=99999 into your .bashrc should do the trick.

You say realtime feed, but at the same time use the websocket feed that updates every 100ms as your source. Am I missing something?
