Capturing and processing data at this level of completeness is no mean task, and the scale that FullStory runs at means that there are lots of interesting problems and opportunities for high-leverage contribution.
In particular, my team is hiring for folks who love to streamline software development, automate away daily toil, and make systems more resilient:

Capturing and processing data at this level of completeness is no mean task. And the scale that FullStory runs at means that there are lots of interesting problems and opportunities for high-leverage contribution.
We’re also launching our new privacy-first analytics platform on mobile that takes an entirely new approach to application session capture. If things like Rust, app and framework disassembly, or reverse engineering sound like fun, we’d love to talk.

Yes he's a good writer. But I did notice that a disproportionately large fraction of his sentences start with the word "but".
Curious how digitally-aware the standard will is at this point. Seems pretty significant given the massive paper trail, even if not directly monetary.
In my experience this is the real issue, and what I expected to read about in the post. The democratization of adding in-page content is both powerful and easily abused. There's little measurement of what the impact of these types of prompts is, save for what engagement they drive directly through the widget. They can clutter the UI and deteriorate the brand. In many cases they look out of place and are tone deaf to the customer. In the worst case, they're basically in-app advertisements.

Seems like the author was right; I'd look to Minecraft as the analogue for model trains.
From a blog post by the tool's author:
One of such defenses I uncovered during testing is using javascript to check if window.location contains the legitimate domain. These detections may be easy or hard to spot and much harder to remove, if additional code obfuscation is involved.
Sure that would be great, but the state of the art is actually worse. Some providers charge by concurrency limit, which means you're always paying for peak capacity.
How'd you assemble the corpus? Only some of these books are public domain, did you have to buy/license the rest?
OS virtual memory is one of my favorites.

AppOptics (https://www.appoptics.com/) is a monitoring platform that gives our customers (software engineers like us) deep understanding of how their applications are performing.
As a monitoring product we collect a lot of data, but that's only half the battle: one of the biggest challenges we face is turning that data into a product that helps engineers and is satisfying to use. We're looking for a full stack web application developer to help us grow and refine AppOptics. If you're interested in data visualization, monitoring, or distributed systems then this could be the job for you.
Our stack consists of ES6, React, and Redux talking via REST and GraphQL to Rails and Sinatra apps. We develop locally in Docker containers and deploy to AWS.
The AppOptics team is small (~30, growing) and tightly knit. We ship early and often so that we can iterate on user feedback, we're always evaluating new technologies to see if they will benefit us, and we have lots of opportunities for individuals to have a big impact.
I consider myself lucky to work with this talented, thoughtful, and fun team. People are what make a job exceptional. Email dkuebrich@solarwinds.cloud if you have any questions or would like to join us!
A three-sided "cutthroat" game of pool is very similar (identical?) to this concept.
Cool project. He's loaded the fridge with some ballast (17 gallons of water), so while there isn't an electric battery, there is a reserve of another kind.
I'd be surprised if it was an issue related to real capacity as opposed to traffic shaping. This reads like the exact kind of thing that net neutrality is meant to prevent.
It may impact the AWS control plane and amazon.com, but as far as AWS services go, it just means customers will be paying for more instances.
