Cool idea, though hats off to anyone who got cohere-transcribe to show up as serving the model. I could get device to show up, but kept having issues getting their server to properly serve the model though it could just be the device I tested.

“Those who choose to stay are reportedly required to spend six days at the office and clock 80+ hour weeks”
Is that normal for any of those on here working for an AI company?
This looks really useful. I would love to see some more end-to-end examples though it's nice to see the animated one right away in the readme.
How did all of these labs in China end up replicating the results of the paper? Were they just not reputable labs?
As I had been building out my other product UseSQL I noticed another adjacent product that had a lot of potential run by another IndieHacker. I have since taken the product over. Added a number of features, fixed a few bugs, and pulled together a couple of demos. I have since started dogfooding this product, and figured I would share it with the world.
I am very excited to share this product as I don't think I have built a product that has leaked into my daily left as much as this one.
Feel free to give this product a try as there is a free plan if you want to take it for a spin. Thanks again! If you like it enough to start paying don't forget to snag that discount on my Product Hunt post https://www.producthunt.com/posts/apigum-2 otherwise I wouldn't be against any upvote love on the post. Happy holidays!
After initially launching UseSQL, and using it on a large number of my other projects I discovered another area where this product could be applied to another use case. Data extraction and scraping from websites.
Prior to this new addition, I would either learn another scraping API or since I know Python build out a new scraper each time. At this point that's a thing of the past since now all I need to know is SQL.
I've already started using this to send myself email digests of a number of sites, such as HN, that I actively read so in other words, haven't really scratched the surface of how a person could be using this feature.
Please be kind, but me know what you think. I added a demo so you could try it yourself if you click through to the link.
If you liked it feel free to drop by product hunt and send some love with an upvote here https://www.producthunt.com/posts/usesql-for-web-scraping.
When trying Sample Code 3 converting the TypeScript to Python the conversion was incorrect. Probably worth swapping that out for another sample if the owner is in this thread. As I was writing this I noticed that this wasn't a Show HN post.
Also, unless I am in incognito mode I can't see the sign up form. Not sure if it is a conflict with one of my add-ons (like ad block).
Nice looks like a useful product. It might be worth testing out a few landing pages for different audiences and solutions this provides.
Also, does this do a virtual green screen effect?
Hello my fellow HNers, this is the creator here. After continuing to write boilerplate code to connect multiple data sources together I finally decided to take a more platform-driven approach and came up with a way that I could continue to add more integrations in a scalable way. This API is the result of that effort.
Let me know what you think. I am by no means a copywriting expert so can add videos, and better explanations, but added a demo section here if you want to play around with it: https://www.usesql.com/demo
Also, we currently have a real life case study to learn from in Portugal though I haven't been staying up to date with the latest results on that approach with resulted in more decriminalization of drugs across the board.
Such an odd way to ask this question from my perspective. Though this could be because I am missing something. Is this product popular in that industry? Is there a reason you lead with porn?
I really would welcome this on my current stack as someone who now primarily works in GCP and is constantly updating architecture diagrams. I love any tool that will help create automated assets to assist with documentation as they really help prevent tribal knowledge and reduce that constant overhead of keeping everything up to date.
The fact the majority of the discussion is about that title, and not the content of the article has me thinking that not everyone got that immediately.
Wow, I did not expect clickbait to make its way to the number 1 spot on HN. I would be curious to see if this was due to some someone gaming the algorithm or people carelessly upvoting the headline. Though it is a bit funny that the platform that clickbait is most prevalent on is part of the topic of discussion. Youtube subscribers in this case = Grandkids in the title.
One interesting fact linked to this country is that he was born in Saudi Arabia as well.

It's sadly missing the RDF inferencing of Blazegraph though.
Would all of the blocks being sold on this website be legacy blocks as well?
Is there any ongoing cost to staying registered with ARIN or any other registry if you own a block like this?
Just to be clear in this example a chargeback wouldn't have happened. A chargeback can only happen if there was a valid credit card that made a purchase that requested a reversal of the money transfer.
Haha, okay I will bite. What's the name of your SaaS project?
Could you add more context to this? I am unsure of what you are saying, but am interested in what you may be trying to communicate.
Not going to lie. The first thing I checked in this site was for yours. You made the cut for the 1 year timespan. Congrats!
This question may be an odd one, but how did you create the little cartoons in your blog post? I feel like they really improved my experience as a reader, and if I were to create content in the future I wouldn't mind knowing if there was an easy way to include something similar for someone with little to no artistic skill.
Edit: Found my answer in this blog post of yours https://mtlynch.io/how-to-hire-a-cartoonist/
This kind of feedback I really love to see in Show HN. It's very well thought out, and has some clear take aways to action on.
Haha, that's pretty clever.
How has this affected tax revenue on these legalization experiments? How has this affected drug related crime as well? Is this increase bad? I would love for someone to dig up these answers as I have referenced Portugal's policy in many arguments, but never the ones we have been trying out here at home as they are newer and often more restrictive in comparison.
Not to be confused with Apache Beam which is looking to become a survivor in the big data space with it's abstractions over whatever is the hottest new streaming or batch processing technology.
You got my attention with the open-sourced not taking app for programmers. I downloaded it because it was free and had markdown support. This project could even better if it tried to up-sell people with a SaaS offering that would sync all of the desktop apps under a a certain account, but also offer an open source version of that.
Am I the only one that has issues with the Macbook's WIFI and bluetooth drivers? Granted I am sure the price versus specs differential that keeps expanding my have something to do with. With that said, I am a creature of habit, and stuck in my ways and keep using unix and iOS.
