In California we have this as well. PG&E (SF Bay Area) calls it Solar Choice, SCE (SoCal area) calls it Green Rates, and SDG&E (San Diego area) calls it EcoChoice. You can choose between 50% or 100% renewable energy and are charged a premium per kWh used.

I actually cited a source above that Sprint alone has more LTE coverage than 3G coverage. The same is also true for T-Mobile.
Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint each have more LTE coverage than 3G/CDMA. (AT&T is the exception with more 3G coverage)

Comcast's Xfinity Mobile allows non-CDMA iPhones on its network (through Verizon). They will only connect to Verizon's LTE network and is unable to access its CDMA network.
I suspect Boost could do the same.
Boost also uses Sprint's LTE network.

I don't know if this is still the case but Jet doesn't handle fulfillment for all of the items on their store. I've bought stuff on Jet that were shipped from over e-commerce web sites.
Like someone above, I use an ER-X (with hw offload enabled) and a UAP-AC-PRO. Cost is about $200 total.
Rock solid reliability. I have never had to reboot my ER-X or UAP-AC-PROs except for firmware updates. You'll also get updates for a long time compared to consumer gear.
I have used AWS at a couple work places and I personally use Google App Engine. My sites on App Engine have less than 5 minutes of downtime per year as measured by Pingdom. Deploys to App Engine take a few seconds (though it can depend on your app).
You can choose to run your DB servers on top of generic compute instances in Azure or any other cloud provider. You aren't stuck using their database services.
The claimed machine you get on cloud aren't anything like as performant as supposedly similar machines on dedicated.
This is true, I don't think anyone will dispute that.
Most of those providers you mentioned aren't as reliable and scalable as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc. That isn't an apples to apples comparison.
I would not want to host my business on So You Start, Kimsufi, Hetzner, and especially not Joe's Data Center. I have personally used Joes DC and they have had numerous outages in the past. Hetzner is known for terminating you for any sort of "DOS" like traffic, including high PPS. To add to that, those providers (except maybe OVH?) don't let you scale up and down with automated APIs.
If I am a paying customer of an ISP, I sure would expect them to get me the content I want at a reasonably high speed, even if that means they need to bring up additional capacity.
You could say Verizon is overselling their bandwidth to customers and that's why they have degraded connections to Level3. Is it not Verizon's obligation to their customers to upgrade their connections to handle what they've sold to their customers?

Well that's a convenient argument, given that Level 3 sends way more traffic than it receives on that link, and currently (it seems) isn't paying for that difference.
That is true if Level3 was sending traffic through Verizon to say Cogent or HE. But in this case, the OP is requesting this traffic through VZ and he is paying VZ to carry this traffic for him.
I do the same thing as the OP, I use an OpenWRT router with OpenVPN back to a VPS I have and it improves streaming video quality and speed for Netflix and more. Highly recommend it.
Completely agree. I stopped using contract wireless services since a few years ago and have been able to consistently pay less and get more than before.
Currently using AT&T GoPhone's new $45/30days "Walmart" plan with unlimited talk/text and 1GB of data. Its much less than on contract. Prices are falling, you just have to look beyond a contract.

That is true, I was referring solely to Target where it was physical transactions. There are other solutions that can be implemented for card not present transactions.
This is only the tip of the iceberg. I would say the bigger issue and thr lower hanging fruit is that we don't use Chip+Pin or Chip+Signature here in the US. Using either tech will go much further than just having police departments investigate after the fact.
