Locked down to what though? Bike rides and tag? I TRY to limit my child to 30 mins a day, but when she’s older there is gonna be peers that I will battling against.

That would achieve 1 of the 3 wins.
So you're to blame!
Why is the being downvoted?
This is the reason I use AWS wrappers (render.com/fly.io) for small projects. It may be more expensive but you can't pop the free tier/selected machine.
This a play on the classic Dropbox/rsync comment?
Really? I am trying to put my customer/mum hat on and but is this really true. How many OS would you need to really support? 4 or 5? On top of that docs/knowledge would be more standardised. Google/peers/family would help people more.
That’s a third party.
I think react native changed the hybrid landscape and they jumped onboard. As a dev who works with RN a lot I find SwiftUI to be a pleasure. Just a lot of legacy to deal with
Have you got any sources of this?
I don’t think it actually does though, I think the defaults give you a hint to run npm i
End user of a linker?
Because when it's not a one off?
I feel the Blue makes it feel a bit blue movie.
Ditto, recently moved from AWS to render.com It's like a cheaper Heroku, it's been stable so far. I do use GitHub actions to run a small pipeline on projects but its a far cry from Jenkins.
60k jobs can’t hurt post COVID
From the docs: "Hermes is an open-source JavaScript engine optimized for running React Native apps on Android."
Looks like it's available for iOS now too :)
Announcing React Native 0.64 with Hermes on iOS https://reactnative.dev/blog/2021/03/12/version-0.64
how do i quit vi in this app? no jokes, seriously?
the churn of those plastic products and the net cost adds up
Microsoft seem to be heavily invested in react native (and possibly election?) as their UI layer.
Yup, I was hoping for some game titles that would be easy to introduce. I’d pick the stack/engine based on the game. Grateful for the other advice still.
I'm keen to learn game development. I have experience with web & react native but would be willing to go canvas/unity if required. Any ones that stand out that you think would be a good starter game project?
Maybe it’s on recommended line formatting
Would be interested to know the problem using Yarn, I know npm has caught up, but PnP looks nice.
Minority?
See you in hell Tusk :D
Ditto, I’m from Longton and it’s the first I’ve heard.
I’m not questioning typed JS, 100% behind that, we regrettably use flow, partly because React Native Typescript support wasn’t great (so I am told). I guess I should have asked if FB recommended TS over flow nowadays
Building an app with react native at the moment, the team uses VSCode & WebStorm. Why would TypeScript be the deciding factor?
