38°C in Mannheim today. Might go above 40°C on Saturday, which never happened here before.

The macOS kernel (XNU) as well as the basic system underneath macOS (darwin) is open source.
FYI that is the old unofficial wiki, the official NixOS wiki is at https://wiki.nixos.org/wiki/Impermanence (although this particular article is also outdated there)
iOS Safari
Same on macOS Safari (Sequoia, Safari 18.3, M3 Pro, 18gb RAM)
Maybe link to the original announcement instead of an Apidog advertisement: https://qwenlm.github.io/blog/qwen2.5-max/
You may also want to consider the EUPL, which is OSI approved and despite the name not limited to the EU.

First time I read this interpreation regarding CC-BY-NC model weights, are there any sources to back it?
Actually rechecking the terms of the GPU server, it states:
Cancellation period: 30 days to the end of the month
To me that indicates it's not possible to order the server for only a few hours.
Thanks for the link, seems like a major flaw to combine hourly pricing with a setup fee. :')
That's incorrect, dedicated Hetzner servers do not have hourly pricing. That only applies to Hetzner Cloud.
Hetzner has an affordable hosted offering of Nextcloud which we use at our company: https://www.hetzner.com/storage/storage-share/
My (German) grandfather was born in Stettin :)
I was active in the WoW server emulation scene somewhere around 2008 to 2012 and fondly look back on that time. Especially the German forum darkwow.de (and later mmonerds.de) is one of the reasons I got into computer science and I'm still in touch with some of the former members. Ten years later I got an MSc degree in computer science and programming is one of my most profound hobbies.
In the fediverse, owncast is an established selfhosted solution for livestreams with chat: https://owncast.online/
Does your browser support WebGPU? https://webgpu.github.io/webgpu-samples/
Any plans to support ActivityPub?
Or `nix run nixpkgs#epubcheck`
NixOS 24.05 contains an older version of zed, as feature updates are generally not backported to stable NixOS releases. Try running the package from nixos-unstable instead.
Isn't CUDA still incompatible with the open kernel driver?
The EU governments want to adopt the chat control bill by the beginning of June.
Just in time for elections...
As far as I know, Garnet is not a Redis fork, but a new software that happens to implement the Redis protocol to be compatible with its clients.
+1 to this, migrating our build setup to Nix + nix2container decreased our pipeline duration for incremental changes by a lot, thanks to Nix's granular caching abilities.
I think the point BartjeD wants to make is that due to the nature of MIT licensing, they could run away with your contributions anyway, even without a CLA. Furthermore, Redis didn't have a CLA if I remember correctly and the relicensing is solely based on the what the previously used BSD license allows.
Phoronix benchmarked it in August 2023: https://www.phoronix.com/review/mercury-firefox-perf
The results were underwhelming.
And in this case it's even enforced through country-specific phone number verification... They _really_ don't want us to use it.
The man is an idiot
The creator of the original Ballerburg, Prof. Dr. Eckhard Kruse, teaches computer science at the Cooperative State University Baden-Württemberg (DHBW). I attended four of his courses (C, Interactive Systems, Software Engineering 1 & 2) during my Bachelor studies. He's a bit odd sometimes but also funny, with a strong interest in ghosts and spiritual stuff.
They are actively working against self hosting, which is why I want matrix to succeed and signal to die
