It seems like this is something that warrants a personal approach? Just ask what employees would like to do and why and then work out a schedule that works for both employer and employee. Simply retracting freedom is obviously not going to be a popular measure. And happy employees are better for everyone I'd say?

It's not, many applications don't really work without your iPhone connected via Bluetooth even if your watch can make it's own internet connection. It basically seems like Apple and app developers are not considering people using their watch without their IPhone present as well.

As long as we have to worry about finger printing lots of things are unreliable or impossible on the web unfortunately. Even more so with different browsers taking different positions on these things. In the end I wonder if this is actually protecting users or if they can still be tracked regardless and it's just inhibiting native app feature parity.

Not really, from what I understand they're now upselling lower core count processors if you look at for example 7700 vs 9700. If you compare 9700 vs 7600 it makes more sense and the power usage is more comparable. Another 'fix' proposed by AMD also was basically to enable PBO which would then result in a marginal performance improvement, but no longer at a lower power usage.

The reality is, even though it's now theoretically possible for Chrome and Firefox to be properly ported here, it's practically impossible. At any rate it's not happening yet. Last I heard they decided against it as it would require all of the coding to be done within the EU! So Apple is still effectively blocking alternatives on its platform even here.

I wish they'd focus on getting rid of whatever is still blocking Chrome, Firefox etc from actually porting their web engines to full browser alternatives. Installing WebKit with a different coat on is not what I want. I want alternatives to the WebKit monopoly.

As far as I understood the Ryzen 9000 CPUs were also disappointing in actual benchmarks at about the same performance for gaming as last generation for a much higher price. I've gone for a good old 7800X3D in a recent build.
