The whole premise of Anthropic and openai is to replace developers. I don't understand what mental gymnastics people are going thru to justify their 5 open claude sessions and tokenmaxxing

Like, they want to professionnaly, kill you. Theh are as much as a tool as is a cord pending from the ceiling

You and the parent are arguing over different, orthogonal things. I believe the parent argues over "efficiency"(=being able to achieve a goal for given amount of ressources) while you are replying over "efficacy" (=being able to achieve a goal). Both could be called 'maintainability' and nobody explicitely tells what definition they use, so all the long pointless discussions could be avoided if people agreed on terms

What could I read in order to understand different tradeoffs between types of missiles and the interceptors? It's just curiosity, i dont need hard math, but let's say i d like to implement a somewhat realistic system for real time strategy game

I practically never watch any movies because they are almost always trash, but decided to go watch Obsession after seeing a youtuber (penguinZ) talking positively about it

Yeah it's pretty good. I am in my late 30. Excited for Backrooms which isnt yet available

I wanted to try zig, but the language still moves way, way too fast, they break API for every release, so i simply couldbt keep up, while learning the language/debugging the build system/trying to actually implement what i wanted

After watching the Jetbrains interview, I still want to try again but maybe i ll wait till the 1.0 is out

For you, the turquoise is green!

No, turquoise is turquoise. You gave me two options, and you act like I didn't know that word exists

I randomly bought NAC just to try it. I dont know about the chemical interactions, but going out with collegues at that time taught me that it's basically impossible to get drunk. Usually a pint of beer is enough to make le feel at least a little dizzy, but when taking NAC, it was all like drinking water

I think it is pretty obvious that at the challenge with all abstract mathematics in general and the category theory in particular isnt the fact that people dont understand what a "linear order" is, but the fact it is so distant from daily routine that it seems completely pointless. It's like pouring water over pefectly smooth glass

I am on latest Fedora Gnome, and tab switching between windows randomly stucks. It's so annoying, i had to go back to X11, even if handles badly high dpi laptop; the alternative being to reboot randomoy in the middle of the work
