I used to help for the OLPC project. They even gave my an XO laptop (the one pictured in the article). It feel good to see it in use. I didn't keep myself updated about the progression of the project. Good thing it isnt dead :)

[unconstructive but still..] So the day I could be emprisoned because of an error of coding... Like a segfault on an highway... as finally came :D Is the disclamer "no waranty of anykind" shield us from that kind of thing ? ;) (I code on some mainstream C libraries)

If you want, Just open a google account (if you don't have one) and redirect everything via pop3 or by any other way to your gmail address to centralize everything. You will have all their anti-spam solution working for you ;) You can then sync all your device with the new address and use gmail for iOS on your IPhone.
