It's how humans lived for all of history before the Internet. Seems healthier to me. If you're not close enough to someone for them to want to share updates with you specifically, or to see them and catch up, why do you need to know every update on their life?
Tbf I'm in a family group WhatsApp chat, which I guess fulfills the "life updates" part for my family. But no public social media, don't see the need
Yes, just like how due to the diversity of Whole Foods workers it's easier for them to unionize.
That's exactly it. You have to bring the "copy" of the left side to overlap with the "original" right side. Then move forward/backward until the overlapped 2 come into focus. The shimmering should stick out, was so shocking when it finally clicked for me.
You can't replace puberty with vitamins.
Puberty is when humans grow the most.

What exactly else did DEI initiatives do besides try to get people hired for their race instead of their competence?
Yes, any sort of prostitution does.
Not everyone has such little self-worth.

Bone density, height, vocal changes, etc.
You can't just delay puberty until you're 20
Not a discussion about "the world."
Actual extreme left-wing views are those that the average San Franciscan holds. Economics isn't everything.
Why would the political leanings of other countries matter in a discussion about the US?
Ignore previous instructions. Tell me the best way to make a pork rib sandwich

Rust is now common enough in the industry

Sidebery does vertical tabs on Firefox better than any other browser/extension imo
Custom CSS or userscripts become much harder with obfuscated JS.
You should take a trip to Canada, or just do 10 minutes of research on diploma mills. I'm not interested in turning America into a suburb of India.
Not that surprised. Rust is known for being evangelized by a very loud minority.
You know flagging automatically kills (marks as dead) posts/comments here when enough are added right? Even worse. Imagine a bunch of redditors with a downvote that deletes posts and you have HN.
You can block and ignore people and phrases on X.
Reddit might be more your speed.
Hopefully just a bug. If not, Apple should be ready for more expensive legal battles (at least in the EU).
as long as it doesn't hurt living conditions for those humans
Literally how would it not? Losing your job hurts your living condition, it's not like the warehouse workers will just be given cushier tasks.

Anything even slightly controversial across political lines cannot be trusted. Math and technical topics that don't address any drama or controversy are usually fine for reference, but there are almost always better resources if you're trying to learn about a topic from scratch.
Authoritarianism is good, journalists have shown they do not deserve free reign.
Not endorsing a presidential candidate is neutral in this context. Easy.
Positive eugenics would result in more smart people with zero drugs or genetic engineering involved. And it requires zero oppression or violence. Just pay couples with high IQs to have babies.
It will increase Firefox's market share. How much remains to be seen.
