Unpopular personal story time.

I have a Google account, and it is perfect. I use the gmail UI to send and receive email from my own domain name, which I use for work and personal email; I then have a gmail address which I use when I am signing up for sites that I expect to receive spam from - I can use both of these simultaneously just selecting which account I want to send from. I have Google+ which I have set up granular permissions, so that certain people can only see certain content. I have a Youtube page, which is connected to my Google account but uses a separate alias completely separate from my real name, which I automatically become when using Youtube. There is no public facing connection between my real name and my YT alias, and I never have to switch accounts or select which one I would like to use.

I might be missing the problem, but to me it seems straight forward and logical.

How scalable is hosting on meteor.com?

Currently hosting on meteor.com is mainly meant for demoing and testing, not as a stable production enviroment. However, with the release of Meteor 1.0, the Meteor Development Group will launch Galaxy, which is a production ready hosting managed hosting platform.

I would be interested in this myself, but as a big coffee drinker, I am rather picky about where it comes from etc.

More information on the beans and even expanding the selection of different geographic regions, would probably hook me in.

In same way, no one except 'us tech nerds' care about IPv4. Why would anyone who does not have to work with it, or have an interest in tech, care about protocols?

I am going to make an assumption that any 'terrorist' that plans their next attack through facebook or gmail is more of a threat to killing themselves by a bomb backfiring, than to the public.

Mass surveillance is not the solution.

Also, their claim that 'they operate fully within the law' is just a claim without any public evidence to back it up, if all three of them were subject to a polygraph during this then I might take it a bit more seriously. Otherwise, why should I be inclined to trust the words of a organisation that clearly does not trust me?
