Netflix has become an advertisement platform for certain companies/ideologies/people rather than a media streaming platform.

Which is a problem because it has no like/comment functionality that can (theoretically) filter false/exaggerated advertisement.

On the other hand, which media platform is actually not an advertisement platform? That's a whole another debate.

I'm coming to the realisation that open source projects will always provide a lower quality than comerical ones.

They (at their least) demonstrate people of a possibility of more sincere (more eco-friendly, user-friendly or budget-friendly) products and services.

“I was thinking: I’ve been training my entire life. And we martial artists could only grow older. Yet they could own [my moves] as an intellectual property forever. So I said I couldn’t do that,” Li said.'

It is fascinating to see that at some point of any expertise, you start to respect the art itself more than any hard work you invest in it.
