Would having prior valid TNs reduce risk or is there any such notion as having too many TNs? I have heard of this anecdotally but it might have been speculation on their part.

Can a person be eligible to purchase a ACA health plan in CA if they're on a B2 visa considering they have been in the USA for several years on prior work visas?

I know there are some recent changes with OBBBA that will kick in Jan 2027 but as per my understanding only affect PTCs not ACA eligibility.

Irregular bowel movements, cramps that I couldn't attribute to what I ate, inexplicable fatigue. Eventually it was a bright red blood in stool which made me force my doctor to take it seriously.

Stage 4 as well, diagnosed in 2021. Lifelong vegetarian, mostly ate organic foods and generally active. I always suspected something was wrong with my gut, but didn't think it would be cancer. No genetic component either.

It is insane that we tolerate this in 2023. I actively switch to other providers even if speeds are lower, but it is impossible to avoid their monopoly. Short of lobbying for municipal broadband, I am at a loss as well.

Xfinity (Comcast) support is non-existent and actively lies to me about promotions or what I will be billed. Every time I call them to dispute, they waste an hour of my time and either throw me a $10 credit that I'm not sure is even getting applied. Stage IV CRC as well. Agreed, for the vast majority, it is still cytotoxic chemotherapy. I used to follow these innovations hoping to bring it up with my onc, but rarely do any of them work better than standard of care in vivo.

I hope you're handling maintenance chemo okay. Tumor DNA can change over time, so get a biopsy at some point to see if you qualify for other treatments.

We don't want to do it but sometimes we do if it means getting to work on interesting things/paid competitively.

I've had interviews with heavy LC and ones where I got plain old fizzbuzz and there wasn't much difference in staff competence or how quickly we delivered.

I'm unfortunately not passionate about much nowadays; in treatment for stage 4 cancer, so I'm fairly exhausted all the time. I'm glad I can still maintain my cognitive abilities during chemo so I can still do my job.

None of the utility libraries helped with this, instead wrote a shell script to orchestrate concurrent puppeteer load tests with jest and collect and parse reports. It is very resource intensive and spiky. I'm looking to see how we can make it more efficient.

Agreed. Immunotherapy is a great start but it is only applicable for a very small section of cancer patients. I hope we can look back at our current treatments as barbaric once we unlock more specific treatments. Cancer also isn't a one size fits all, it might end up as a lot of similarly manifesting diseases that don't have a general holy grail fix.

Excited to see ML based approaches that can help us diagnose and triage CUPS (cancer of unknown primary source). Hope this is as revelatory as sequencing was. Traditional chemo is absolutely debilitating, so any chance for targeted therapies in earlier lines is life changing.
