the way this got leaked is so embarrassingly stupid.
Their website was just a react SPA with the entire member list in the JS bundle. What a stupid mistake to make for these tech "geniuses".
at first I was a bit shocked at the price of $0.10/verification (having never implemented KYC before). But after looking it up, more traditional KYC/age verification services cost up to a couple euros per scan which is crazy to me. Never thought about the cost of such systems before.

I feel like it's hard to avoid aws downstream, even if you don't host any components of any application there. For example in my team, we are currently facing issues with Slack & the Docker registry (causing prod deployments to fail...).
This is another reminder that centralization on the internet is a net negative.
looks like an awesome tool! I just found it funny that in code interpreter demo, javascript is used to evaluate mathematical problems (especially the float comparison)
Looks really nice, and works well too! I just have two little UX gripes:
- Allow submission of a message with some sort of keyboard shortcut (enter and shift + enter only add a new line)
- Disable the "Send" button while the completion is loading, this prevents accidentally clicking send twice, causing the process to fail.

(now ex-) Firefox user here. I think I am in love with this browser.
I tried switching to arc, but it didn't stick since I really got used to the Firefox way of life. The arc browser also felt really commercial and has a lot of gimmicky AI features, which is not optimal.
This Zen browser is like a blend of the best of both worlds!
Pretty much every well-known UI library, including Bootstrap, Angular Material/MUI & Chakra UI, calls these Toasts.

In my opinion EndeavourOS is the best "Arch for the rest of us" type of distro. Manjaro has proven countless times that their main team is incompetent at best.
The "Integrates Easily" links to Langchain and Pipedream are flipped on your website.
Sure, if that's the reason, I completely understand. However that's not the reason they stated in their FAQ. It really comes off as gatekeeping
This is a really cool project, but:
"Where are the ISO images?
There are no ISO images. This project does not cater to non-technical users."
This comes off as really abrasive. Wanting an ISO image to quickly test this out is not an indicator of someones technical ability.
I'm sorry I don't want to boot up a linux vm, install a lot of development packages and then build my own boot image just to try this out.
So, what's the benefit of using this over something like faker?
Isn't the point of most of these identity generation tools to generate huge amounts of test data? This would just make that free process cost something.
"written in typescript" does not mean it's slow. V8 and JavaScriptCore are insanely fast, and typescript is a proven language.

I only upgraded to a paid tier about a year ago, before that I was using for about one and a half years for free with 0 issues.

Maybe it's because I'm not a heavy E-mail "Power user", but I see most of these as non-issues (this depends on your use case, of course)
Another huge pro for me, as a resident of Germany, the data stays in Germany and is protected under our strong data security laws.
I do have to agree, the search was kind of sucky for a while. But imo it's improved a lot is also pretty useable now.
