While tastes are subjective, and there are a lot of variables involved, the Decent espresso does pull a solid shot. The reviews so far are pretty positive.

On a similar note, getting 5% Cash Back each month on my modest AWS bills is certainly a nice perk with my Amex Amazon card, in addition to the 5% cashback on amazon & whole foods purchases.

Depends which airlines you fly internationally - A lot, if not all, of american airlines are increasingly moving towards removing first class from their international flights & having business class as their premium cabin offering - e.g. Delta with DeltaOne or United with Polaris. If you want to truly experience first class, it'd have to be one of the middle eastern airlines or British Airways, Singapore Airlines and the likes.

I'm sure the CEO @mahmoudimus can chime in - he's been posting in this thread noting that he works at VGS.

I queried my 2 phone numbers as well as my wife's number - Looking at the reports for my 2 phone numbers and pretty much everything value returned is inaccurate - 99% of the information is for the folks who previously had the number assigned to them, before it was released to me - oddly enough, I'm listed as a "relative" for both numbers.

Any pointers on opting out of such services?

I've been using a "refurb" Macbook Air 13 for the last 3.5 years. It was scuff-free when I bought it and it's been great so far. I've started running into some issues now such as battery health and the fan going on for extended periods of time since the last OS update.

I'm going to get a Citi Prestige as my next card, which to me works better than Amex Plat - 4th night free on paid hotel stays, Admirals Club access, Priority Pass Select for primary & authorized users (with access to 2 guests free vs. none on Amex Plat), Global Entry and 250$ in flight credit that can be redeemed for airfare vs. incidental charges with Amex. Not to mention, it's easy to get an in-branch offer of $350 a year plus the fact that there's no bonus for everyday spending on Amex Plats.

I don't recollect being asked for my ID while riding Amtrak on the Northeast Corridor in the last 2 years. I don't even print the stubs anymore - I just use the Amtrak app / Passbook on my phone to display my ticket.

I put a single cube of ice in my scotch / bourbon simply because the dram "opens up" over time and the taste evolves with each sip, so to speak.

On the other hand, Chilled glasses are a pet peeve of mine.

For what it's worth, the Flickr app now automatically backs up every picture; so do Picturelife & OneDrive. They all are backed by a storage array that is quite a bit economical when compared to Dropbox's current rates.

I'd suggest people to go shopping at your local ethnic store for spices vs. buying pre-packed spice racks or those tiny spice bottles from whole foods or your local markets.

You'll get X times quantity for 1/Yth the cost. The same goes for Lentils, Beans and Rice
