Of course not, this is just the parent poster's opinion. The truth of the matter is that there exceptional individuals who decide to get into software development and software security. The problem with software is that often companies don't invest into securing their software, and that has to be a priority. Perhaps having the SEC force fines for not securing mission critical software is the first step?

I don't understand why making them available via a prescription would solve anything. I do not smoke or vape, but I have a friend who stopped smoking because vaping was accessible without going to a doctor. He just tried it because he wanted to see if it would work, and it did. He no longer vapes or smokes.

I agree, you constantly see posts and discussions on the elusive concept of "work-life balance". People don't stop and take the time to address their personal needs and just concentrate on the career.

This is true for large corporations, but smaller startups that is not the case. Smaller companies have everybody wearing multiple hats. Nobody sits around, and if they do, it's time to ask them to leave.

Security is it's own separate issue. There are best practices that must be observed in all frameworks (preventing xss, sanitizing user data). Of course sometimes there are bugs, but the OSS community resolves those rather quickly.

Agree with the author 100%. We want tons of new JS tools and frameworks out there so we can learn and evolve newer and faster ways of developing. I still remember when jQuery first came out and how earth-shattering that was. This inspired so many more devs to create better and easier to use tools.

It would be possible if there was a change log constantly updated that was meta data to the stream. In other words, each time something is done on the audio/visual file, log what it was, and version control that.
