My only complaint about the ads is the quality of the video on ESPN in particular is rather crummy... could cause consumers to think the game footage is poor (which it isnt)
This is totally overboard. Apple clearly didn't intend this 'loophole' and if it is not good for the developer (especially in such a dramatic way), it is not good for Apple. It will change.
There are benefits to both - namely, Pligg is more robust... but I actually quite like the layout of Slinkset better.
A couple questions about slinkset though for Brett -
1. Can I remove / edit feeds?
2. I really want to be able to add AdSense and would gladly rotate in a % for you...
3. I want better customization of the header / footer
The point of the article is more around the value of the subscription business - particularly in economic down turns. I think the demise of physical discs is a longer term theme... but the demise of purchasing those assets is near term. Netflix helps there.
I meant changing color - maybe adding an icon.
But making it public as well (not just private).
So if you are on a post that a top user makes, you see his color header.
