I've been using an external trackpad instead of a mouse since around 2009. At first, I used ratpoison as my window manager on my EEE PC as a daily driver, which is controlled entirely via the keyboard, then I used StumpWM for a long time and now I use cagebreak (which is a Wayland compositor with ratpoison-like behaviour). I use the trackpad very sparingly, only when it’s really necessary.
Russian is seriously messed up language.
Some (most?) national languages, which developed chaotically, are very illogical, with weird constructions and some inexplicable features (Russian and English are examples of this). Artificial/planned languages such as Esperanto are a different matter -- they are very easy to learn and very pleasant to the ear.

Who knows, may be you are right here. I actually thought so at first, but knowing the author personally (he is my former colleague, I had the pleasure of working with him in the same team about 17-18 years ago), his extraordinary abilities and his writing style even before the widespread use of AI, I had my doubts.
