Why are they blogging about it now? Look at it as advertising.
Air BnB haven't been in the news for awhile and sales have been slumping, so they coughed up this hairball of a post to stay "top of mind".
I've had good success with Blekko. Not crazy about the slash syntax, but it certainly seems to work for me.
Btw, I'm a fan on DDG. It's slick and fun to use (although I still habitually go to Google still). Bad habit to break!
I don't hate my smartphone, but I do think I've become horribly codependant with it.
