Oh I remember alright! I got bitten by a stray dog when I was 12 years old. I was given abdominal shots of the vaccine for several days. I can't remember if it was for 7 or 14 days, but it was a very painful and traumatic experience. It caused me to have a deep fear of dogs for several decades.

Anecdotally, I've found that taking a tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar with water once a day has had positive effects on my ADHD symptoms. I've been doing this for the past 2 months and I notice I'm more focused, and less anxious. I started taking it to fix my gut issues, but after a few days, I noticed my ADHD symptoms were suddenly minimal.

You describe exactly what I experience. I can't afford to see specialists so in the past 15 years, I have taken time to listen to my body in an attempt to figure it out. It's been a long journey of self-discovery and healing but the progress I have made have been worth it. I recently discovered that I had bruxism as a child and wonder if that caused the TMJ. I also started eating dates and that helps alleviate some of the tightness I feel on the left side of my body.

I didn't realize I had anxiety and Fibromyalgia until I took a little too much of cannabis bread. My thoughts weren't all over the place, I had better control of my coordination and oh how clear my thoughts were. Math concepts I had struggled with in school suddenly made sense. As the effects of the THC wore off, I noticed a familiar feeling of pain come over me body. Only this time, It came slowly, and its intensity increased as the effects of the THC wore off. Is this pain in my nerves? I was used to experiencing it as irritations, stress, and fatigue. I could make sense of it because I had time to think about it before getting overwhelmed by it. I was fascinated! I discovered the word Fibromyalgia after this.

The second time I ate the bread, I made sure I had no activities for the day, was alone at home, and observed my behavior prior to taking the cannabis. When it was time to eat, I got a timer and took note of when the effects kicked in, which parts of my body became relaxed first and how the general transition from stress, /micro pain/anxiety to peace, and clear thoughts happened. I loved the discovery I was making. After a couple of months I quit the cannabis and switched to meditation, yoga, ice baths, and CBT to deal with the anxiety. It has worked. These days I don't meditate or do yoga daily, but I have better control of my life, and very grateful for the experience that led me here.

James Altucher says he writes down 10 ideas a day to exercise his creative muscle. After years of doing it, he created a site to help others keep track of their ideas. According to him, at notepd.com you can:

Write your list of 10 ideas.

Label it "Public" , 'Private' or 'Premium'.

Public ideas can be searched, shared, commented on, followed, etc.

It has all the functionality of twitter on top of all of this.

You can use AI to fill out lists of ideas or generate images based on your ideas.

Premium lists can be sold (like an online course or a 'special report' or a newsletter, etc).

'Challenges' can be issued like, 'Give me 10 ideas to help me market my XYZ business.'

Maybe it'll work for you.

EDIT: Changed notepad.com to notepd.com

Perhaps you should read "The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene. I first read it in my early thirties and got depressed for a while. I used to be 'people pleaser' too. Expecting everyone to do the 'right' thing or reason in a certain way. That book made me understand that people may be guided or driven by laws or maxims different from mine. I had been very naive about how the world worked for so long and that made me sad. I certainly wasn't going to court attention at all costs, or keep people dependent on me, but I was now aware that these were principles followed by some people and expecting them to behave otherwise was foolishness. Then learn some Stoic philosophies. The daily stoic by Ryan Holiday is good recommendation.

Windows "provided" Subsystem "for" Linux. Meaning Windows, the platform, provides or hosts a subsystem that runs/hosts Linux.

I was fresh out of high school and decided to learn computers while I waited for the University entrance exam results. I joined the course about a month late but I was determined to catch up. One day I was alone in the lab trying to run a QBasic code I had written. Everything was Ok except for one line. The interpreter kept pointing to that line and I just didn't get why. I went over my text books several times, and the syntax I had used was correct.

After about an hour, I got depressed and my thoughts went all over the place. "It's karma! You see that 'little' lie you told a couple of years ago about not being responsible for knocking moms pot of soup over? Well, the spirits are paying you back now. Your code is fine boy. But your sins cause it not to work. Maybe you should confess when you get home". Luckily for me, a friend walked into the lab and saw me slouched and with a long face. "What are you coding?" I pointed to the offending line. He looked at it for a few seconds and said "it seems fine... Ah! line 1O should be 10." He corrected it, pressed Shift + F5 and like magic it worked. Now whenever I write code I always put a slash across the zero to indicate it's 0 and not O.

On Smoking 5 years ago

I started smoking when i went to study in China. Someone gifted me an expensive brand of cigarette, and I kept it hidden in a drawer for two weeks as I didn't smoke. One very cold day with no where to go and nothing to do, I took the pack out and lit one stick. My did it have a lovely scent. The heat it created inside me was also soothing. It took me about a week and half to finish the pack of 21 cigs. I couldn't afford to buy the same brand often but i had become addicted to smoking. I struggled with anxiety back then and smoking calmed my nerves. Within 1 year I was smoking 2 packs a day.

Smoking is frowned upon in Ghana, so upon my return there were few places I could smoke. One day while out and about I got really anxious about something and I needed a cig badly. I had to go some distance to get one, and even got a harder time finding a place to hide and smoke. I felt like I was committing the most heinous of crimes cause I had to take off my shirt to ensure the smell didn't stick on me. I didn't even enjoy the smoke because the quality wasn't that good, I smoked in a hurry and kept looking over my shoulder. I simply couldn't live like that anymore. So I quit after that day. The next time I tried to smoke again was 2 months later. I couldn't even finish a stick as it made me feel sick. I have disliked the smell of cigarettes ever since. And that was 7 years ago.

Lol. I have no idea how the above comment got posted. I just noticed I had lost karma points and wondered why. I check my comment history and find this strange comment. I remember reading comments on this post and then doing something else. either I have gremlins in my phone or I must have unknowingly posted this reply. Not intentional and I can't edit or delete it as it was posted a while ago. Please ignore it :-)

There is no proper framework to define a 'developed' or 'developing' country. At the WTO, individual countries are allowed to self-allocate themselves. Those in the 'developing' group then get preferential trade benefits. These trade benefits are the only reasons China holds tightly to the 'developing' country label.
