Why do people assume that things would break so easily? I'm pretty sure Twitter (ex)team did tons of scalability testing with loads that are 10x or even 100x. Plus random 100x to 1000x spikes to account for breaking news. And all of these are done automatically, constantly, and consistently over the years.
Despite all the criticism, this remains one of the best threads on Twitter so far.
Can someone tell me what value does Pantone bring to the table? As a man-on-the-street I fail to understand what they are claiming for. Is this about the naming Pantone has given to a particular Hex Code?
"Pricing as Code" would be a better tagline I guess?
If you are paying for the load/pressure, what's the problem?
Is there a PDF version of it?
I still go back to the article[0] on mental models by FS (Farnam Street) whenever I need a refresher. It is complete and to the point.
