Small bug report: The filter input field on the all entries page grabs focus when the page loads. This causes the Android keyboard to appear every time.

The watch notifications replace the vibration of the phone in my pocket.

With the watch I don't take out my phone to see what the vibration is for and then most likely getting lost in the phone, surfing etc.

Regardless of the precise comparisons there is still a long long way to go.

IMHO in the UK teeth straighting is perceived as extremely vain. So in the UK straighting teeth is more a taboo than not.

Android/iOS is an interesting idea for a business. They already have secure app distribution. A private channel in the Google play store or via app store adhoc. Communication between the devices via a server should be possible at least using HTTPS but also private/public key encryption. Doesn't have to be an actual server just one of the devices in server mode.

What could possibly go wrong?

American Airlines way back had "more room" seats which were only slightly more expensive. I loved it and became loyal. But then they stopped. I guess not a lot of people wanted to pay the few bucks.

Could be useful for a conference room TV. Slides, hangouts video, demos, etc.

I work for a password manager that has had teams for a while. We have an encryption key per record with fast search. An open source command line SDK and Java desktop client which is great for linux. A great Android app with autofill, material design UI (more to come), which has been in the Google Play store since day 1, etc.

I'm obviously biased especially about the Android client :) but IMHO great iOS (and SDK), Android, Web Vault, browser plugins, Windows Phone, Surface, etc.

Keeper Security encrypts records with individual keys. Doesn't have the 5/10 sec lag.

Saying yes/no also sets expectations for the rest of your office/company.

I worked in a call center where people where simultaneously using a phone and keyboard number pad accurately and not even noticing. Subtle differences between the two but still interesting.

SD cards are not popular in the US. Googler's also thought they were no longer popular. Mudge pointed out that outside of the US (emerging markets, Europe, etc) they are an essential feature.

You need a lot of bad/unsuccessful ideas to find the good/successful ones.

IMHO most of the success was due to being featured. Being featured was mainly due to having contacts at Apple and Google. Having contacts is out of reach for most developers. There are only so many developers Apple and Google can have a relationship with and there are only so many apps that can be featured.

Looks like the opposite of that. Every operator will be able to use the single connection from exchange to home.

Maybe so that the user has something visual to show them they haven't miss typed that start of the number?

For many years I've used my own domain for emails with a wild card forward to whatever my current email address is. So whenever I'm asked for an email address I use company@myemaildomain.com. So I don't have to worry about support for the + and no part of my actual email address is ever revealed. It also makes it easy for me to switch email providers.

Woot! doesn't actually liquidate so much. A lot of their sales are on products that are not available in the market yet. Plus their own products such as their t-shirts.

Yes although Groupon was a local/coupon twist on existing Daily Deal sites such as Woot! it seams with all the groupon hype that has been forgotten. Very surprising to me but looks like it's time for me to change my messaging.

Yes the physical goods deal sites did well before groupon and have continued to do so since. I run a mobile aggregation app that I launched before groupon. When local coupon deal sites came along I included them for completeness but the physical goods, online, flash sites have always done better for me. It's interesting to see groupon, etc move into the physical online flash deals.

The story about Daily Deals is that although Local Daily Deals such as Groupon and Living Social went through boom and bust the Online Daily Deals such as Woot, Tanga and Zulily did very well before Groupon and continue to do so. That is why Local Daily Deals businesses have expanded into that market with Groupon Goods and LivingSocial Shop.

I do have some data to back that up with Deal Drop (www.getdealdrop.com) which pre-dates Groupon and Tech Drop which I released yesterday (www.getdealdrop.com/blog/tech-drop-android).

Couldn't agree more. Something you control is only safer if you do a better job at controlling it than the other service would control it for you.
