$350 windows box probably isn't silent like the MBA
I have the M1 MBA and M5 MBP. The wedge MBA feels noticeably thinner and the MBP feels kind of chonky in comparison. It's a bigger difference moving them one-handed than the specs would indicate.
I have an iPad 4 that is now a single purpose scorekeeper for darts
I did "not interested" & "This post makes me uncomfortable" for a solid month and now have a reliable feed of comedians, tacos, golden retrievers, classic jazz drummers, etc. The algorithm thought I turned Mexican and gave me exclusively Spanish content for a month but I just kind of went along with it.
Regardless of merit, this seems like appropriate payback for having to make a new workday account for every single company you apply to a job.
I've made the L. reuteri "yogurt" from the BioGaia Gastrus tablets from amazon and it works well. First batch is a little watery but after that it pretty much looks like greek yogurt when I use half and half.
That was my first thought - "Is this guy training for Jeopardy?"
On a M1 MacBook Air with 8GB, I got this running Gemma 3n:

One of my friends said his prior company (Fortune 50 size) had one of the big consulting companies come in for an assessment. The main takeaway was too much time spent in meetings. They banned afternoon meetings and put time spent in meetings as a KPI on performance reviews for managers (I think there was a 4hr daily maximum as a target)
Malicious compliance would involve reviewing the action items from the 50 minute meeting at the beginning of the 10 minute meeting
Here is Jeff Beck's pedalboard that just sold at auction yesterday for GBP 126,000
They tried making a castle inspired by this near Branson, Missouri that failed:

$633 (USD) per month in Zimbabwe is crazy. I could see Starlink becoming the internet backbone for micro-ISPs to slice.
Someone probably has a python one-liner for it on leetcode
It's like Bucky Beaver (their mascot)
I wonder if there are Japanese blogs dedicated to documenting all of the food choices at Buc-ee's
If you are self-employed, you can make the normal employee contributions and your employer (also you) can make the additional contributions of roughly 25% of salary. For 2025 this would be a total of 70k instead of the normal 23k
1TB+ iPad Pro can be a fanless machine with a matte screen
Can also prompt AI to create photorealistic images. Midjourney will probably let you specify famous photographer styles.
hims sells the generic version for a fraction of the price but you have to do regular injections
My mom still has the tupperware I grew up with in the 80s. I assume it's 100% BPA
I think this is an ad for Lumos
My McDonald's app has a daily 25% off coupon. I feel like it's a glitch but it has been persistent for over a year. Two of us can eat for $13
