Thanks! I understand the potential conflicts on different approaches at so many different discussions.

However, as you've mentioned, it would be awesome to have a resource putting different opinions together.

As per in one of the comments below suggested, I've created this repo: https://github.com/davidpelayo/awesome-parenting so I'll be tracking all the info posted here and others findings.

How certain startups CMS based content could go checking broken-links? 1. They implement their own checker - fair enough, if they want to do it. 2. They use a micro API for it and forget about investing the time on it, if it works well for them.

which makes me wonder how this reached the frontpage

I tried Hugo recently and must say it just works smooth. From the documentation quality point of view, there are things that still need improvement, but it's good enough to produce your own static sites in a few hours.

AFAIK, Hugo also allows you to import Jekyll themes. But, honestly, I haven't tried these ones you ask for yet. I'm willing to know people's feedback.
