It’s even more difficult for small brands and local businesses who bleed money into FB ads with such a bad return it's painful to watch. We’ve seen it with a lot of services businesses that use our e-commerce platform.

To solve this and out of our own frustration of working with ad agencies for no ROI, we created a tool to run influencer campaigns that pay each influencer a commission of sale generated. Once a campaign is created, influencers join this campaign and start sharing. For the huge marketing groups ( Omnicom, Publicis Groupe etc ) my personal meetings with top decision makers paints the same picture from yesterday Axios article: > Between the lines: Financial struggles and minimal oversight at some of the biggest global agencies have for years led to bad practices, like kickbacks and bid-rigging, that have led marketers to question whether their dollars are being wasted. https://www.axios.com/businesses-moving-media-advertising-in...

The first day at University, my Maths Professor told us: "We will asssume you never knew about Maths and we will start fron the beginning". We defined what a number is, what addition is ... and from theorem to theorem we reached some very high and complex domains in Maths a few years later. The process of understanding each step, each demonstration and ultimatly each concept - starting from scratch - made few students among the group Maths masters.

The simple fact the world is today a village and politic/economic leaders realize the situation (too late on my mind but still) makes the situation totally different than before. Besides leaders, individuals understand the situation, we are not blind anymore.

Is Email = Efail? 18 years ago

I agree. Gmail filters, username+keywork@gmail.com, or outlook filters make it possible to "auto-organize" incoming emails. I'd be curious to know the stats of filter use among Gmail regular users. I have dozens of labels and sublabels as well as dozens of filters in Gmail.

For the regular Joe, I don't think email overload is a real problem.
