I agree. I’ve been using pgtyped for a recent project, along with https://github.com/graphile/migrate for migrations, and it has been great to just write SQL and not have to battle with an ORM’s abstractions.

My 2011 MacBook Pro broke in September of this year. I took it to the Apple store and they replaced the logic board (this would have cost ~$600 but I have AppleCare).

Last week the issue arose again, so back to the Apple store. They replaced the logic board again, and chalked it up to bad luck when I enquired why this would have happened again so soon.

They wouldn’t acknowledge it as a known issue.

Not the grandparent, but it does it in Google Chrome v26.0.1410.10 dev on Mac OS X Lion v10.8.2

I have third-party cookies blocked.

element.querySelector and .querySelectorAll [1] provide this functionality. Sizzle [2], the selector engine at the core of jQuery, uses it where available and works around some browser inconsistencies.
