Recently I asked 4o to ‘try again’ when it failed to respond fully, it started telling me about some song called Try Again. It seems to lose context a lot in the conversations now.
Things 3, really polished todo/personal task manager app. I also use on iOS and Apple Watch. Blackhole, sound routing e.g recording os audio when screen recording.
They messed up the pricing time and again sadly, then they made it free and now they killed the classroom product.
Still actively used for releases in the demoscene.
No mention of the iPhone’s built in ‘Assistive Access’ mode. That would be my first port of call for turning it into a dumb phone.
I’ll never forget the sense of wellbeing I felt after my first “sun holiday” further south, it was revelatory.
Only when I need Keynote to recognise a newly installed font.
There's a fairly substantial Demoscene live coding community with shader coding and non-competitive jams (with an archive here: https://livecode.demozoo.org/)
You can take a look at the final of the Shader Showdown at Revision last year here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJ7KAD0NyGw
There's a TIC-80 'bytejam' every Monday Night (8 or 9pm UK time depending on the week) on https://www.twitch.tv/fieldfxdemo
And you can catch some previous VODs here: https://scenesat.com/videoarchive
You can get a wireless CarPlay adapter for cheap and just leave that plugged in.
And that page 18 seems to have nothing to do with the car manufacturer.
I give up. Best of luck OP.
Again, I can see that. I want to know what they actually tried and what the result is that they're unsatisfied with to take as a starting point.
Very helpful reply, thanks. I use it every day and have no issues getting to to generate an appropriate tone for my responses so I want more concrete examples of the issues.
Can you give example prompts and responses?
The creator of Uxn/Varvara is actually doing TCC again this year and they have published code so you can take a look. Lots of approximations for avoiding square roots and trig. Good discussion on the discord about it.
I wish posts I just read wouldn’t disappear completely when I press the back button due to being flagged or whatever, especially if they’re on the front page. Happens enough to annoy me.
Highly variable based on your previous programming experience but it’s designed to not take up too much of your time.
Thanks for posting, if anyone has any questions about Tiny Code Christmas, feel free to ask.
It's not too late to start, there's no time limit. It's all very informal so you can start anytime and the videos and website will stay up. Checkout #lovebytetcc on Mastodon to see what people are up to, the discord is also very welcoming and active if people are stuck and need help.
Thanks for posting! I tried a Show HN and it got nowhere.
Still cool. I enjoyed that documentary.
Fog Creek?
Almost all of it was in English from what I saw on stream.
Yes. I had previously wondered if iOS keyboard usage could be used to track cognitive decline in Health, but the keyboard is declining faster than I am.
Somewhat tangential, pakettic[0] is a minifier for TIC-80 cartridges (a fantasy console) that use genetic algorithms to minimise and rearrange the Lua code to compress better in sizecoded demoscene competitions.
I’m on my third pair of AirPods Pro, two warranty replacements and about to try for a third.
Happy YNAB user here.
I remember playing Galaga while Tekken loaded on the PS1.
EMF Camp has an entire demoparty contained within it: Field-FX!
