Why not use passkeys in LastPass? Then the passkey travels with you to your devices/apps.

I personally find the barrier of starting new (FOSS) projects much lower now days.

To each their own, I really enjoy my 2018 Model 3 glass roof. Although a stress fracture from no where would really annoy me.

For what its worth I've had a crazed man preach from on top of my Model 3 roof and it still looks brand new :)

I had to look it up as well. I assumed it was a play on words about Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony (the three big video game console players).

House maintenance and projects have taken up most of every single weekend of mine for the past few years.

Mine come and go but it's no where near every weekend since I've purchased in 2019. What sort of things occupy this much time?

I guess it depends on the EV. We one-shot Seattle to Portland because it's only ~180 miles. I can't imagine spending 2-3 hours charging on that trip.

We'll spend ~20-30 minutes charging on the way home but that's it.

Now if we're talking about the traffic in Tacoma or around JBLM that's a different story!

Definitely different than raod tripping in an ICE. We road trip in our Model Y and end up stopping often regardless of charging for snacking, stretching, walking the dogs, etc.

I remember talking to a coworker would couldn't accept taking 10 hours to drive somewhere instead of the 8.5 hours you can make it in an ICE. But then again we are definitely people who puts on road trips.

Cold soaked batteries are definitely less ideal but if you can plug in at home, planning your charge times and pre-conditioning the car while plugged in significantly reduces the range effects (and preheats the cabin for you!)

I normally change mine to `project.svg` but that's just my preference.

I have my first contribution to Inkscape in this release I think. It's quite a minor feature though, so I don't see it in the changelog. It allows the user to set their default saved file name. I was tired of drawing.svg :)

I love old MMO server reverse-engineering. MapleStory custom servers helped get me into programming in middle school/high school.

I still have an inkling to get back into MapleStory custom servers (or other MMOs) but to be honest something about the vast open world that is empty of players is really creepy/sad/liminal to me. I'd want to take a spin at adding some "life" to the servers, even if it is just extra player-ish NPCs.

Fwiw I assume most people feel this way.

The same reason Windows only respects users choices in Europe, they make more money with the settings elsewhere in the world and will only change unless regulated.

In the EEA, Windows will always use customers’ configured app default settings for link and file types, including industry standard browser link types (http, https).

I'm a novice in this space I think. I've self-hosted for over a decade and around 2019 I moved over to Unraid, which is generally pretty visual (web portal or configuring and doing maintenance). I find the web portal very easy. How does one interact with your home server OS? I assume it's all via terminal because there are no pictures on the website?

Similar here. Somewhat ironic that a tool that was supposed to be preventing merge conflicts was authoring completely mangled commits to our mainline branch.
