I actually set that system up and it was awesome! Really was cool and fun to have the little cards, look through them and then "tap" to start the album. Unfortunately I needed the Raspberry Pi for an emergency and then have never fot around to running again. I fear now, with all the SONOS fun (that has destroyed my 8 speaker setup :'( ), it won't work any more.

Was just reading their site and wondering about that myself. But I use NextDNS on my router to cover all the devices on the house and this seems individual client based.

Still, I can run it on my main machine.

The networking looks a great blend of onion routing and secured connections. Really clever way of constantly changing a client IP. As someone else noted it's like a client/outgoing version of Cloudfare's DDoS mitigated network design.

@imaleppert Agree getting the details on the testing would be helpful. I think NV was more pointing out that Intel were putting their latest against NV's oldest. It'd be like testing a RX480 against a GTX660. What's the use of that?

@modeless the new Azure instances have M60's or you can purchase a 1080 or new TitanX which are both available (although stock has been tight).

The SHIELD can now run Plex Media Server as well as the Plex Android client. PMS on SHIELD includes full hardware accelerated transcoding and support for 4k@60 content. Pretty sweet!
