I gotta ask but is Forgejo a barely loading forge? GitHub, GitLab being a pig sure but Forgejo seem pretty snappy.

It's a running a fork (codeberg specific) of a fork of gitea called forgejo (https://codeberg.org/forgejo/forgejo) so it's not surprising. The people behind it were a bit miffed at Gitea doing some questionable commercial endeavors in their view and also not dog-fooding Gitea for Gitea.

I had a repo with more than a dozen forks banned on GitHub for some unclear TOS violations. Ticket has been sitting for a week plus now, asking for clarification and guidance.

For those not in the know, a lot of people used API keys for stuff like Google Maps and stuff.

And they didn't know it was also enabled for Gemini stuff.

Looks like they are looking into writing this up.

This is great to hear. I wish the original article was more clear on that instead of a vague "they'll get to it" which has bad connotations.

Are you really not sure? I'm pretty darn sure a lot of "normal" people don't know how to configure their systems to use a SOCKS proxy to use Tor.

I would imagine most users of Tor are using Tor Browser. I am reading there was a responsible disclosure to Mozilla but is it me or did that section leave out when the Tor Project planned to respond or release a fixed Tor Browser? Do they like keep very close or is there a large lag?

Sometimes things aren't documented and sometimes they could be documented wrong.

That's why I chose to specifically mention production. The developer boxes were to get macOS native stuff going but virtualization was not a priority.

Yeah. It's the first production Mac using an A-chip and is a Mac that has had many things cut out for savings. The question is did Apple feature cut required functionality.

What I mean is that it should ignore permissions on external ext4 by default in Desktops.

Can't it just do what I _mean_ if it's a Desktop install and mount it like ntfs, udf, or etc?

Wireless Android Auto or Carplay generally use BT to setup but WiFi to send the bulk of the graphical data over.

That said, there are adapters to make an existing Android Auto Wireless if you want it. I think some are sold on Amazon too so you could probably try and maybe return. I don't have any experience with them since I'm very happy with my car's built in wired Android Auto and the reliability of cabling but it is something you can try.

As GitHub keeps Azureifying, it'll be interesting to see if this changes.

Since Gemini seems to be sucking at timestamps, perhaps Whisper can be used to help ground that as an additional input alongside the audio.

Maybe the same reason why they kept the name for the 2.5 Flash update.
