Will /token oauth bearer authentication be added anytime soon?

Probably the most well-written piece i’ve read via HN.
Now if you worked at SpaceX and worked on testing their flight systems, then I'd be more inclined to trust you
Wow that's harsh. You may want to add a bit of sugar to that; it's not nice addressing fellow developers like that. Just a thought.
I'm sorry i'll have to mention that the software can be thoroughly tested in simulation flights. Funnily enough i was involved with some virtualisation software used to test booking systems for Airports. If you can virtualise a booking systems, trust me you can virtualise the on-board flights systems.
When will we be able to embed repl.it into an iframe?
That’s why you need good humans who’re expert at responding extremely well when things break. It’s one thing to prep for a whiteboard interview, it’s another to intuit that needle in the haystack.
I don't really get why when it comes to crypto energy consumption, the discussion board becomes reactionary. I mean portugal is now running on 100% renewables. Shouldn't this point be more about renewables? You know, what about the electric car? That'll consume lots of energy too.
I happen to know an exec in gold mining (we had a brief fling), and she mentioned they do see bitcoin as a clear competitor to gold.
For what that's worth.
no users around me and I'm fairly central in London. Why not connect with the n closest users instead?
Nope. Offsetting losses is therefor a very commonly used loophole. Hence the speculation.
At the risk of sounding pedantic too, crypto is short for both cryptography and cryptocurrency. Knowing which one it refers to is inferred from context.
Tesla is already established in the business of luxury electric cars. It's the low cost ones that seem to be the challenge.
What's I dislike the most about this situation is that I cannot even shut down my yahoo email account, as it could be re-created by someone else, i.e hijacked.
It's also terrible that such bad password policies are being pushed onto users, yet no guarantee of security is associated with them.

Yes it does, but I pretty much regard work as I do dating. In this respect being selective usually pays.
I'm a contractor.
It has occurred to me that bonuses don't suit me well. As a software engineer my ability to work rests upon many different layers of knowledge (my trade), assumptions (there will be electricity at my client's office when I arrive), beliefs (I will get paid).
I work hard to make sure each of these elements are in place, so that I can free my mind of them, and focus on my work.
Well a bonus turns one of my most important factors for employment into a variable, based on my performance. This is a cognitive load that I refuse to bear while carrying out my trade.
If you read up on research regarding bonuses they also seem to lead to worse performance when it comes to cognitive tasks, and I'm unwilling to work with a company that doesn't use data, facts and reason as some of their driving factors.
I just got the best gig of my life through LinkedIn. But I was abroad so not really able to physically network as such.
What annoys me with British PSA's is that they're always stick rather than carrot.
I know it may sound like I'm whining, but hearing for the 50th time today that I'll get fined some stupidly high amount for not doing as I'm told can get weary after a while.
Then flat out refuse. I just landed an amazing gig by writing a relevant blog post with code included. Else they could rely on some of your github code.
I'd like AIs to have settings so they start engaging me, rather me always having to engage them. e.g ask me what my tasks are today, or other types of interactions initiated by them at a propitious time.
If they have their way then Nestle's bottled water will really be a luxury item you can't live without. Most likely quite literally.
Very different beasts. :) Writing CAD software can be done with a surprisingly small number of libraries, which is not at all withe case when it comes to typesetting.

Doesn't Boomerang require you to grant their servers the right to read all your email?
Seems like a high price to pay.
No matter the load. A blog is only reads. Any db system should be able to hold up.
It's a different kettle of fish when there's writes; but for reads, it should be a walk through the park.
What is an unhealthy fat?
Fat consumed with high levels of sugar.
Not everyone has the capacity to be strict with their diet, habits, or health in general. These people might still attempt the Keto diet.
The Ketogenic diet gets approached by lots of people with mental health issues (bipolar for one), and people who have issues being strict with their diet.
Advising them to get their blood work done, and heart checked is normal, and sensible. Getting your blood and heart checked regularly is a healthy habit, and provides vital feedback to understand exactly how your diet is impacting your health.
A word of advice to those attempting a Ketogenic diet: get your blood work done on a regular basis.
If possible, get heart scans done once a year.
It's easy to slip into a sloppy version of the Ketogenic diet, at which point you're consuming lots of unhealthy fats and carbs, you triglycerides and cholesterol could shoot up and put you in shit street.
This is a strict diet.
Marbella: beach. :)
I like the premise of the article. This is now a black & white issue; it's not about how the onus is entirely on the user, or entirely on the machine. Instead it's about both assisting each other, but humans ultimately remaining at the wheel.
