I actually saw a job posting that said at the very end "this is just an example". Previously it didn't have that line. So I'm guessing someone complained about being replaced and they had to put that line in there. Unfortunately they have since removed the job posting، It's a YC startup too

I'm a witness of that. Both to threaten that you're being replaced once we find someone and to make you think there is someone coming to help. I know for a fact it's the former. Since there was no hiring manager nor HR where that happened, I believe this is a common practice which is being advised to startups at some level. I've seen three or four YC startups do that which makes me wonder if someone is spreading this terrible practice among their network

I like the idea. You can mention some more specific use-cases like offer to build an MVP from scratch, then provide subscription based support. Or suggest taking-over a project from another outsourcing team, etc.

I've read some CEOs leaving AI to build decentralized AI. A crossover between web3 and AI.

I know a company that claims to do AI. Their models didn't work so they ended hiring humans to manually do the job AI was supposed to do. Obviously that won't scale, but they still call themselves an AI company.

You refer to the economy as strong. Relatively it's not. Also depends on what you mean by economy. There are parts of the economy which are worse than before, and those are affecting the job market. I'm not saying AI hiring is the only reason, the relatively bad economy is another reason. As for AI there were articles that mentioned exactly that, companies are ending other projects to invest in AI. I'm sorry I don't have a reference handy for you, maybe you can search for them. Since you don't seem to have understanding of what economy is and generalizing it, which is clearly a fallacy, I suggest you are either being arrogant or ignorant to console yourself

AI solutions haven't taken anyone's job yet. Current AI solutions do make copy-pasta a lot faster though. I believe the reason all these engineers lost their jobs is because of companies greedily re-budgeting to hire AI talent and acquire AI startups. AI still hasn't replaced any developers yet, although that might still happen one day.

There are special phone cases/holders designed for that. I'm pretty sure Google will sell those too. Not to mention this might be a camera recording the driver-distraction and not the road. So it doesn't have to be in the sun. Or even for passengers in a driverless car

I was binge-watching on Youtube and came across one of your videos a few days ago which inspired me to start thinking of doing something with my 10 year experience, specially when you talked about there being no shortage of money :) No other investor has ever reached me via Youtube let alone inspire. I can tell you why i cancelled my subscription. Everytime i would access Netflix from another device, they would reset my password and i couldn't create a new one without contacting customer service. They basically kicked me out. When i said i don't want to go through this process for the third time, and since your algorithms kicked me out, i want my money back, at least whatever is left of my subscription. They said no, i either go through the manual process with them to reset my password, or my subscription will automatically renew (because i can't even log in to cancel it). Thankfully they were very happy to cancel my subscription on my behalf.

All i can say is i get really frustrated when i dont see a date on an article which to me means i cannot rely on any info in there. Im always looking for the latest and with no date i cant tell

Totally agree about certain games. You can't have certain games before years of building, it's like making a movie.

From my experience, if an app takes more than a few months to build and launch, the risk is no longer worth it. Large companies also do this (years building before launching and i have yet to hear of a success)

I'm not sure yet whether i want to do the training on mobile, but i want to try both before i decide so thanks for the resources i'll dig into them. One important question is, are there tools to decrease the size of a model so it'd better fit on mobile? Or is that part of the training?

That is not always a good thing. High sales with a bad keyboard is one reason why we see so many people ranting, although i don't think anyone has pinpointed the real issue. Sales can be driven by reputation and now that reputation is slightly being exposed.

Apple can do what it wants as long as it has a monopoly over operating systems. There is nothing like masOS out there. Personally i think the real problem is not the butterfly keys, it's the shrunken space between the keys. The arrow keys on the new MacBook Pros are the design fail of the century. I can't tell up from down without looking. Other laptops did it before and i was grateful that Apple didn't copy them, until now.
