Obviously we can find examples of members of the GOP that are against gay marriage
The party platform is the official stance of the Republican party and it is against same sex marriage. It won't change until 2024. Republicans who support it are extreme outliers, not the other way around.

I’m pretty sure mainstream republicans are pretty onboard with accepting homosexuality
Less than half of Republicans support same sex marriage.

If I was in a same sex marriage I would feel very, very uncomfortable working at a company that "bans politics" when a large number of my peers thinks my spouse is "unnatural".
I've edited my post to be a bit more neutral, would you like to respond again? Thanks.
I'm going to cherry pick your slippery slope argument:
Should certain speech mean imprisonment?
Yes. Credible death or terroristic threats in 1st world countries can mean you can go to jail. Society has decided that people don't have the "natural rights" to threaten to murder other people.
What sites do you visit that you regularly see "f--" and the n word?
Yes it is, I and almost certainly a large amount of people just blip right over whataboutism posts. Everyone is fed up with this style of deflection. Its just.. old. The discussion is about Parler, if you can't talk about it without the constant barrage of "well what about what Twitter does??" then maybe don't hit reply at all.
So the mob shouting "hang Mike Pence" would have.. had a pleasant debate with him, had they found him alone in the hallways of the Capitol?
If not, what do you think would have happened?
Whataboutism.
Every. Single. Time.
Over and over, unabated.
But
What
About
Do you think your whataboutism makes even the minorest dent in anyone's opinion here in 2021?
"At first they came for the people that wanted everyone to have health care, then they came for the people who wanted LGBT people to be treated fairly"...
By what metrics do we call it an insurrection? Since only 5 people died did we need 50 to die before it is an insurrection? 1000?
For the "protestors" who shouted "hang Mike Pence", did they need to shout "hang all of congress" for it to be an insurrection? "Hang all democrats"? "White power"? Which is it?
Surely he means stevedores.
What do you mean by this comment?
VERY QURIOUS that there was no response to this Just Asqing Questions QUERY.
Thanks I run something similar that can only really do 300 players before it starts to lag badly but TBH needs to be rewritten as its all single threaded and 1 process controls the lobby, every game, all chats, etc. Don't do what I did -_-
Are you running multiple cores/threads of deno? If so how are you holding/communicating state server side?
Curious, why should a private company be forced to post op-eds from viewpoints that their editorial board has decided are against their editorial guidelines?
What other things should the government force a private company or that matter a citizen to say or not say?
Well I can't really agree here, I would think that Occam's Razor for me getting downvoted for saying that "Media companies should not be hosting op-ed articles like 'pedophilia is good'" is pretty clear at least to me. If that's a "chilling view" then, well, ABOLISH ICE. :)
Here's the first "incident" referred to in the above link:
O'Keefe and colleagues were arrested in the Hale Boggs Federal Complex in New Orleans in January 2010 and charged with entering federal property under false pretenses with the intent of committing a felony, at the office of United States Senator Mary Landrieu, a Democrat. His three fellow activists, who were dressed as telephone repairmen when apprehended, included Robert Flanagan, the son of William Flanagan, acting U.S. Attorney of the Eastern District of Louisiana.[195][196] The four men were charged with malicious intent to damage the phone system.[197] O'Keefe stated that he had entered Landrieu's office to investigate complaints that she was ignoring phone calls from constituents during the debate over President Barack Obama's health care bill.[198]
Which of these sentences, specifically, are false, biased, or misleading?
Did O'Keefe not actually break into a federal building?
Did he not state that he entered her office?
Was he not actually arrested and charged with a felony?
One more, in the Trump Georgia call, did Donald Trump say "I just want to find 11,780 votes"?
This is a glaringly bad faith interpretation of my post. You know what I meant - an op-ed featuring say a pro-pedophilia stance should not be published in a national media. This is not "discussion" or "public forum".
What in the world? The former guy said, on a real, not fake recording "I just want to find 11,780 votes". This has not been retracted. Where are you reading this?
Why won't you read one or more of the 30 links that Wikipedia cites in the above article? Since you don't read locked articles, would you like me to link them here? I'd be happy to.
OK, who are some modern American conservative leaders who show humility, or any of the other major tenets of the teachings of Jesus?
Who shows that they love their neighbors? Does building the wall show that?
Which of them love their enemies? Which doesn't judge others? Who has repented for their sins?
Where do I "only have to look" to find these people? What non "celebrity pop culture news networks" should I be watching?
Ridiculous. Modern "conservatives" in America have __nothing in common__ with the Jesus of the bible. Lessons of humility?? What conservative leaders in America show the slightest sign of that?
I would say that instead of me suggesting "voices" to listen to, you would be much better served by not paying attention to any of the above. Especially Greenwald.
"all of those strongly identify as leftists" is telling. They are not leftists. Greenwald, in particular, who shows up on Fox News on a regular basis to attack leftists, is by far the most anti-leftist of any of the 6 names you've mentioned, but none of them will give you actual progressive views.
None of these people will espouse things like raising the minimum wage, reducing our out of control military budget, or god forbid, universal healthcare for Americans. This is what modern progressives want and where the Democratic party is heading, eventually. No one cares about "cancel culture" or "SJWs" like you'll constantly read about with this list.
I see that we should "cast a wide net" by reading 3 noted anti-leftists.
Who is your favorite author that identifies as a progressive?
What are some media sources that we should be reading and listening to?
What are some examples of "true things that happen to be taboo to say" that you can't say?
