I vaguely recall an Apple rumor from the last few months about 3 new display model numbers, 2 of them being 27" and one of them being 32"... so still possible a Pro Display XDR refresh is on the horizon.

We need them all gone. Anyone who makes "politician" a career is precisely the wrong type of person to be an elected official. It should never be about personal gain. Wipe them all out, implement campaign finance reform, set term limits, prioritize election security & availability...

We need a reset.

Or just local SF politics… the billionaire/VC obsession with SF politics is very odd and unhealthy from my outside perspective.

It could also be related to the libertarian utopian startup cities VCs are funding.

The Cooler Screens CEO sounds like a “fake it till you make it at all costs” kind of guy just based on the allegations of fraud at his tea company and his conspiracy allegations at the Four Seasons interview. I’d be very wary of any data provided by his company indicating increased sales, it’s very easy to manipulate the excel data if nobody is verifying how the data was collected in the first place.

A cheaper alternative to EightSleep is Sleep.Me… same concept with a heated/cooled water circulator + mattress pad, and they have an “autopilot” add on. I just manually set my temp schedules based on the season since I don’t like subscriptions for stuff like that, and I don’t want my sleep data on their servers.

I imagine @dang is pretty on top of clapping antisemitic comments on this platform, he’s not one to mess around.

I worry that softening the definition of antisemitism by saying things border on it is ultimately weakening the severity of the accusation long term. Like bigot and pedo, antisemite will soon be relegated to just another empty accusation before long.

I think that one of these yt-dlp based servers wrapped in a dead simple PiHole-like imager and some nice front end client apps for playback could really take off in the same way PiHole did with less technical users.

Buy a Raspberry Pi, image the microSD card, select your favorite YT channels, install client apps… all your favorite YT content now available locally and ad free!

Yes, various alternative and experimental treatments were discussed with a strong emphasis that anyone considering them should first discuss them with their medical team. And people who posted with definitive language about cures were either downvoted into oblivion and chastised in the comments or permabanned if it was clear from their post history that they were commenting with an agenda. The person I replied to on here would have had their ass handed to them in the comments of the subreddit and then probably would have been banned since they’re clearly only spouting their talking points and not interested in creating a discussion around the topic.

We don’t entirely understand it which is precisely why it’s important to have a specialist you can discuss this type of thing with. That specialist has access to your full medical history as well as the ability to run tests against any things you may decide to try. Legitimate medical and scientific breakthroughs don’t get leaked in conspiracy theory forums or on podcasts. Blindly trying something a Joe Rogan guest swears is a natural cure that Big Pharma is suppressing is a bad idea. It’s the kind of decision making that can cause something manageable to become significantly worse… look at Steve Jobs.

Trust your doctors, believe the science.
