update "hey goo-oo" ACTUALLY WORKS
"Hey goo" would be perfect
about 3 projects with deep involvement, and ~5-6 others with more shallow involvement.
Sure :) You mentioned it was in a book, so the first thing I did was go to books.google.com; after that, I just typed in some keywords that seemed right - you can see them at the top, I searched for [buckminster fuller triangle squaring power]
it wasn't hard to find once i read your explanation
https://books.google.com/books?id=03fSBwAAQBAJ&pg=PA20&dq=bu...
and what is the correct answer?
can you remember the query you tried?

I'm often curious how far Google has gotten in answering vague questions like this.
Google's answer is pretty reasonable in this case:
Google: https://www.google.com/search?q=where+can+I+get+the+thing+th...
=> First result [Parts of a Toilet | The Family Handyman]
Compare to Bing, which misses the point:
Bing: http://www.bing.com/search?q=where%20can%20I%20get%20the%20t...
=> First result [Signs Of A Sewer Drain Clog]
ok this guy wins :) email me at okthisguywins@gmail.com with your paypal details / or pay request. thanks!
p.s. every zip code i've tried has a bunch of findings. anyone have a zip code without one?
I'll paypal $50 to the first person who can write a script or web interface which just takes a zip-code and returns a list of infections based on this data.
The people complaining about this better not be the same Thiel worshippers who constitute most of the Google hate here.
Thiel criticizes Google/Alphabet for hoarding any cash at all. A true technology company re-invests all its excess profit.
This "loss" corresponds to less than 7% of Google's gross profits in the same quarter.

It's the next sentence in the article. > The total number of files also includes source files copied into release branches, files that are deleted at the latest revision, configuration files, documentation, and supporting data files; see the table here for a summary of Google's repository statistics from January 2015.
None of what he wrote applies to any of the large advertisers which comprise 95%+ of Google's ad revenue. I can see some of it applying to tiny inconsequential mom and pop advertisers.
Of course performance/direct-action advertisers would not bid per impression if they wanted clicks or conversions (they would bid for clicks or conversions), and if they were a brand advertiser they would pay for views and monitor brand awareness metrics (https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/3499086?hl=en). And they would also monitor their placement reports and filter out low quality sites if they wanted. And YouTube is growing rapidly and that is not ignorable.
Also, Google search ads still account for most of Google's ad revenues.
IMO this is a very sensationalist article which greatly exaggerates advertiser ignorance and platform mischief.

Very scary. Not only am I even MUCH more sedentary than this guy, and also 34 years old, according to 23andme I am at very very high risk for blood clotting.
Duolingo is a step in the right direction it seems (though language learning is not "higher ed", it can be used by adults).
