Containers are zones are great if you're building your own platform that you control.

However I'm not sure building a multi-tenancy hosting environment based on containers or zones is the best idea.

Suppose the tun driver has a bug in it which can cause a kernel panic under some circumstances and that someone running OpenVPN in a container or zone hits this condition. You can now wave bye bye to all the zones running on that host.

That is one way of doing it and I've done similar migrations using a similar method in the past. A lot depends on your existing infrastructure and how your application works.

Hopefully we will reveal more about the "special magic sauce" in future blog posts.

Firstly I don't work for O2 but I work in the mobile industry. O2 should only be passing your number to trusted sites (and to get on that list is pretty hard).

We have reported it to them via various internal contacts we have. Hopefully they will fix this soon!

Never underestimate the stupidity of some recruitment companies.

Get a phone call one day, the usual "we have a great opportunity for you"....

Sounds great: it's in the same city I work already, same industry, same sort of work, same...... hang on a minute.

After stringing them along for a while, I finally ask them to compare my name, phone number and location to that of the person who submitted the job spec only an hour earlier.

I only wish I'd seen their face when they realised they were trying to offer me the job I had advertised with them. Especially considering they had grossly inflated the salary expectation.
