I thought exactly the same! Also, I'm not sure why, but LinkedIn is showing all of our pages with the wrong image. If someone is smart enough to figure it out please let me know. Get any blog-post from the godotengine.org site and paste it in linkedin and you'll see how the image that gets pulled is the auther of the post instead of the thumbnail of the article. I wasn't able to figure it out.

I recently tried to run it but failed! I even considered making an old PC just to play that. Thanks for sharing this tutorial.

I never stopped listening to the build mode songs from this game, they are the best tracks to get me full nostalgia mode.

I am in the same situation at the moment and it is a bit sad. I've been trying to do more "solo" work because I'm the only constant in my musical journey. I envy bands that last for a long time because they can make it work, but I had to travel a lot and it made it impossible to have a band that would endure even the smallest of hiatus.

At the same time, every time I am with musicians that "made it" only talk about how miserable is to tour and how horrible it is to be constantly doing music for a living, so I feel lucky to make money out of software development. But I guess the stupid teenage dream still lives somewhere in me.

Hey, I'm curious to know what are some of those "weird opinions at a maintainer level". I would love to know more about your experience using it at such scale.

I'm trying to use it but it can't access private repos even if my github account is linked. Not sure what's wrong...

I did a lot of tutorials on my YouTube channel on how to start making GUI applications with Godot. The visual scripting is really bad for now, so I would stick with GDScript (a Python like language) or C#. It is really a great piece of software to make something quick for non-technical people. I really recommend anyone to explore and play with it a bit and I'm sure you'll find a use for this amazing engine.

Another OW player in HN? :) I feel the same about the 144hz monitor I have, only really worth it for playing OW, the rest of the time is nice but I feel like I'm not getting enough out of it. Maybe next monitor I get will be 4k, but not sure for now.

The trending frameworks might be because we usually get tired of working with the same technology over and over again. The moment of learning something new is always exciting and once it wears out I guess that starting with "the new thing" recreates that feeling momentarily so we start rationalizing about it. There is also in my opinion the big problem of being able to do the same thing with many different tools, it always generates this kind of conflicts of which one is better, but at the end of the day, any tool can be "the best one" depending on the team.

Too much configuration to even get started!! and the fact that you can't work offline makes this setup so much worse than a regular laptop for my regular use :( I wish there was a better dev environment on the ipad already

This documentary changed the way I see the world. It was great to meet all the people around the world from different chapters and some of them are still my friends today. I really thank it a lot even if most of it is just BS. Still made a huge impact in my life.

I certainly feel that if I were not remote I would be in a better position by now. Being one of the few remotes of the company makes me feel like I'm missing out on some of the office dynamics that enable your career growth. Maybe in teams where there are more remote positions this is different, but that's how I feel.
