Right, just recordings of her bragging and laughing about getting a child rapist off scott-free.

I'm inclined not to believe the 15 hour claim. I've had the 2015 MBP since it came out and get maybe 4-5 hours of battery life doing non-heavy web development nowadays. After I newly bought it I got maybe around 7 hours at most. With integrated graphics only of course - with the dedicated GPU active I get around 3 hours or so only.
What exactly is "the grit"? The homeless people and crackheads?
The Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative are just two fronts the Clintons used over the years to receive bribes.
How else do you explain this:
http://observer.com/2017/01/the-clinton-foundation-shuts-dow...
As soon as Clinton was out of the race, all those donations suddenly stopped coming in. It's pretty obvious that the whole thing was pretty much just legal bribery und the disguise of altruism.
Since the Global Initiative has already shut down, it's probably only a matter of time until the Foundation shuts down, too.
Well, somehow that tax payer money has to be put to use. I love the rare Pepe collection at the end of this paper.
Adware and other "gimmicks" bundled with the pirated software.
while not discriminating on race
Affirmative action IS discrimination on race. AFAIK Harvard has been sued because of that not too long ago - I don't know the outcome though.
Well, what do you expect? Multiculturalism and a strong sense of community don't really go together very well.
Japan is doing quite well without the insane immigration policies most of Western Europe has. It boggles my mind, how people came up with the idea of slowly replacing the native population with low-skilled immigrants for economic reasons and how that is still considered a good idea (despite all the obvious problems multiculturalism has shown to bring along in Europe).
All this current immigration system leads to is more Islam and more 3rd world in Europe.
I fully agree. I currently work for a startup and after we moved into a new office last month our management had the glorious idea of putting the programmers next to the customer support team in an open office :/
It's horrible - I have to endure the customer support calls the whole day long and can't find even 5 min. in silence, in order to concentrate on the programming tasks I'm supposed to do. I tried putting on headphones and listening to white noise etc., but that doesn't cut it either. I need silence to work efficiently and it's been that way ever since I cam remember. My productivity has absolutely tanked in the open office and coming this Friday, I will quit the job and spend the coming weeks getting back into self-employment and working from home.
Well not officially. There are easy workarounds though and I'm running a OSX VM right now on my Windows box for example.
Advertising or simply posting in betting / gambling / sports related forums and online communities would probably be a good start. Offer discounts or coupon codes, people love that kind of stuff.
I have a Nespresso and like it very much. As an occasional coffee drinker it's just way more convenient.
"Real" coffee is of course better, but the grinding & brewing process is a pain in the ass and after a week or two I have to throw the beans into the trash anyway, since they lose their flavor so quickly after being exposed to air. Even putting them into air-sealed containers and into the fridge doesn't seem to help much.
So in the end, the Nespresso might even be cheaper for me, since the capsules last months without noticeably losing flavor. Also, at least in Germany Nespresso's patent on capsules is expired and there are now many cheaper alternatives available. A coffee capsule from a local supermarket costs me about 18 cent, half the price of the original ones.
So why don't you get together and collectively do something about it?
I would never accept having my pay downgraded without good reason or having to suddenly endure less flexible work hours. My general rule is: pay & benefits are only supposed to improve, as soon as either one degrades, it's time to look for another job. And job prospects in IT are pretty good right now, at least in the US.
And fucking teenagers is not child abuse. They are not children, but almost fully developed sexual beings.
Neither man nor woman should go to prison for years on end because they banged a teenager.
Are Emily and Greg More Employable than Lakisha and Jamal?
That's impossible to say on an individual level, but it is very likely. If you phrase the question differently, there's a pretty clear answer:
On average, are two white people more employable than two black people?
Without knowing any further info about the possible candidates - Yes. Looking at education statistics in the US, it becomes clear pretty quickly, that the average white person has a higher education level, than the average black person for example. That's a pretty important factor to look for as an employer. I'm sure statistics on work experience will look similar.
And of course this is quite racist, but as long as different races exist, that really just means taking reality into account. Pretending there are no differences between different population groups is insane and counterproductive.
Germany here. I know plenty of people that have done internships because their degree required it.
Just buy a Philips Ambilight TV.
I would agree, if IntelliJ's performance wasn't so bad. On my 2012 MBA I had to turn off the auto completion, because otherwise, just typing text into the editor would make the fans run on full speed and lead to stuttering and hang-ups.
So, unfortunately for performance reasons, I had to switch back to Sublime Text.
Die Linke ist just the rebranded KPD (Communist Party), which was later transformed into the SED (Socialist Party of the former GDR) and is now Die Linke.
They might be on the right side of internet issues, but they are very much on the wrong side of much more important issues.
Are you sure about that 5% claim? According to http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Processors-Benchmarklist... the performance difference should be quite a bit worse.
Yeah if http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Processors-Benchmarklist... is to be trusted, it's indeed quite a bit slower.
What a bummer, I was seriously hoping to replace my 2012 MBA, but now... apparently the Core M processor will unfortunately be a good deal slower, than the one used 3 years ago. Which means I'll probably have to go with a Windows based laptop or wait for the MBP update.
Is that question really necessary?
Great, let's turn people into puritan asexual blobs of political correctness. What a glorious goal!
At least you can put "Linux Kernel Contributor" on your CV now.
Social welfare sponsored by the tax payer.
I think it's more fitting to compare the Pro 2 to a 11" macbook air. So the SD card slot is out.
The better WiFi and graphics capabilities and will make no difference for the majority of use cases. The HD 5000 will perform better for gaming of course, but then again you're on OS X... not really too many games available there compared to Windows.
Thunderbolt is nice, but most people will only use it to hook up an external monitor, which you can also do with the Pro 2. The keyboard on the MBA is not full-sized at all and at least the German keyboard layout that Apple provides is a pain in the ass for programming purposes compared to the Windows based layout (though not really a problem with the US layout). The trackpad on the MBA is much better, but the Pro 2 comes with a touch screen and Wacom pen.
Don't forget about the great IPS screen on the Pro 2. The MBA's screen is getting kind of pathetic for 2013, I really hope they up it to Retina in the next revision.
Battery Life is in my opinion however still the biggest disadvantage of the Pro 2.
Good .de or .com domains are not exactly easy to get these days without paying ridiculous amounts of money to some domain squatter...
The IDE installs and runs in whatever system language you have activated in Windows - with no option to change it other than java command line parameters.
That's quite a shitty user experience for many people right from the start.
IETester works for me.
