Sure. It might make it easier for you to be accepted + the referral will get FCPoints which he/she can spend on gift certificates and such.

<strike>Let me know if you need an invite (email in about part of profile)</strike> No more invites!

I've FoundersCard and am happy with it - I've used quite some deals and discounts. <strike>Email me if you want an invite + promotion code (email is in the 'about' part of my profile).</strike> No more invites, sorry!

German is my first language, so I get along really well - but I've a couple of English-only speaking friends, and they seem to stay happy :)

Judging from what I know, there are quite a lot of English-only speakers in Vienna. Most of the young people in Austria speak English - so you won't have any trouble ordering food, going out partying or getting to know people (at least in an age group < 45).

If you plan to move to Vienna and are interested in any technical stuff, you should definably check out the Metalab to meet some people - I believe 90% of the people there are able to speak English (some are English-only speakers) and they might also help you meet other English-speaking people..

Now that was more detailed: thanks, I got what you mean.

I promise you, that you would have a <strike>great</strike> awesome time with my friends and me in Vienna. I choose my surrounding wisely: racists have no place in my friendships.

Also: let me know if your friends and/or colleagues in Vienna have trouble finding friends/nice-people. I can hook them up!

Racism is present everywhere, I give you that. And it's terrible that right-wing political parties are gaining more and more traction in Austria, France, the Netherlands, Sweden and probably pretty much every other country out there (including the USA and Turkey). Did the possibility, that neither me, nor my girlfriend are Austrian even come to your mind? All three of us (my gf, our dog and I) have different "nationalities".

Trolls are not invited to our cookie and cake party! :)

Everyone is welcomed, the "Go see the world, you Americans!" was supposed to be funny and should not implicate that I 'prefer' to have an American as a guest.

You are welcomed if you are open-minded and non-racist (no matter what sex, skin-color).

If you are in a wheelchair or have trouble walking stairs, my apartment won't work for you (it's on the second floor) - but I can offer you to be your guide for the city and I can try to find a friends apartment where we can help you with an elevator.

Sorry for any misunderstanding/anger the last sentence provoked - seems like I didn't think that through.

The offer is for everyone, email me when you plan to come over - I should be in Vienna pretty much all year (although I might be in Warsaw on New Years)

No, for everyone! I was just kidding: but yeah, everyone should travel and see the world. And if you don't have the money, you now at least have some place to stay for free (at least for a couple of days :) )
